Seeing the 3 ton & 12 ton side by side is impressive. you don't get the impact just reading the numbers. Like most all of us I don't have a lift and have done alot of major work under the car. With the 12 ton, you could probaly drop a FWD transmission and slide it out and even drop then tilt you engine and slide that out...maybe. I wrote the specs down below so I could see them side by side. Yes 12 Ton jacks are next best think to a lift. I'd feel alot safer with those. But they are near 2x the 6 ton, but thats better than being crushed. Great live look at them, thank you.
    3 Ton 11-3/8 to 16-7/8
    6 Ton 15-1/4 to 23-3/4
    12 Ton 19-3/4 to 29-3/8

      12 ton is the best

Neat comparison. The way the foot plates are welded to the bottom of the 12 and 6 ton are how I think it should be done on every jackstand just for weight distribution to the floor. Glad to see they’re doing this. They look really solid!

They really are great! I have been happy with a lot of harbor freights tools lately.

Thx, I got 6 tons for my pick up, didn't trust 3 tons last time. If you read the right up on 3 tons, it's 6,000 lbs per set, not each unit.
So each stand can only hold 3,000lbs, not 6,000 lbs.
Always go bigger. To be safe, the 6 tons are rated for 6,000lbs each. Much safer to use for a truck that weights 4,000lbs+ changing brake/rotor.

Yeah I rarely use the 3 ton. I think the 6 ton are the most convenient for me.

It seems like you don't triple-lock your 6-tons by putting the small R-pin to lock the large safety pin in place.
I mean, I know it's probably overkill, but my OCD would get to me if I didn't stick in the R-pin.

Yeah you are smart to put the pin in. I always forget they have the pin🤦‍♂️

Im sold. Since Amazon delivered my items to wrong address like the KARENS , no chance of getting them back. I will head for Harbor freight to get my Dayton 12 ton Jack stands.
