Nothing screams WELCOME, WE LOVE TRUCKERS like entering the shippers parking lot and seeing two porta johns to use in the sun on a hundred plus degree day.
surprisingly those were clean and didn’t reek lol
Better than zero!
That is why Schmidt won't take broker loads. He takes his regular loads to Topeka, Dodge City and Indiana.
Substantial amount of cheese on this truck! Plus weather is cooler up north! It helps meeting and working with nice people. Most definitely. It’s always a good day when the scale ticket is good. Especially on the first weight!
Great ride along Alice. Windshield videos were great except I kept trying to wipe the bugs off my TV screen😂
I run alot of stuff by my hubby also it's just easier letting him do the figuring. I remember going with my dad having to put up with so much of that hurry up and wait bs. If they can charge you for being late it should work both ways. I don't deal with that hauling propane and ammonia. In the spring and fall when its super busy if you have to wait then you get demurrage time sitting in line. That's what it should be because we have expenses to cover also. Not to self .. Next time you hit the hotel bring your pillow. Lol beef stroganoff is very good. One of my favorites. Stay safe.
you got me again ! the cut to the lounging feet was hilarious . thnx y’all. stay safe
I love watching your channel until you speed up the video and we are driving through interesting towns at 150 mph. They are a part of Americana that I really enjoy watching. I want to see the mountains, deserts, rivers and towns as you drive across America.
My only experience with I 90 was March 1975, so this was a treat. Too bad truckers are treated so unfairly. It really does roll downhill. Ready for the next part. And there's Martin chilling on the deck
Alice glad you got a load finally. The first broker was playing some BS game with you guys. He would go on the do not call list if it were me. What happened to the factor meals you always used to take? Those look like they were awesome.
Thanks for takeing us along for the ride . Glad that you found a good load to get you back home and with nice people deal with aplus. Both of you stay safe out there.
great to hear about all U'r travels & problems U'r forced to endure! best of luck! great to see all the inspiration to succeed!
You are blessed to to have Martin
The night shot at the end of High Maintenance was SWEET!! Also Alice is Hott (with 2T’s)
Thank you for the great video I get to see the country and never leave home.Hope you are both doing well.
Great video I do reefer also and dry van but I have noticed that there’s always more BS on the reefer side Van less cash but runs a bit more smoothly
Thanks for sharing the scenery!!! Great Video 👍👍👋👋
Love the Grey hair Alice
What a nice looking truck! That trailer really completes it. Good for you!
Broker Games yep..I've dealt with a bad one on this load to dallas outta Phoenix. He sent 3 trucks 🚚 at the same time to pick up this load. Urghh . I was already in the dock and loading when the other two showed up and it caused a cluster fudge
Hi Alice and Martin ,Alice this trip gives a good insight on how some shipper/receivers treat truck drivers ( all over the world ) but in true alice style you smile through the good days and you also smile through the bad days and that is why i watch your channel so wishing you safe miles cheers from tim in queensland australia ( keep on trucking ) ps when all else fails say cheese ❤
Yep, Alice, I agree on I 90, haven't been that way since mid 90's.
Best wishes all.
I'm sorry to hear how the brokers are playing their games again
Welcome back to the wonderful world of liars and thieves called trucking brokerages...Ceva spoiled y'all
yes we miss NICK! thanks for adding the tunes. ;)
Hello Martin and Alice. Alice you are right. 90 is a beautiful drive. So glad you're done with that broker. On to better days. The ending shot of High Maintenance is beautiful.
Hopefully this freight game gets back better cause I’ve been in some real Roid Rage mess with these brokers and dispatchers 😂😂 But Ride safe and keep that Machine clean and tell hubby we want some more of them Mechanic Videos 🫡🍻🚛🚛💨💨🤘🏾
Not much is good In.gooding! Greeting from new plymouth idaho
Enjoyed the video this morning. Learned a lot about brokers. You had an interesting few days. Be safe.
Ugh @ some of these "brokers". Makes one wonder. They want to make a lot of money, but then wonder why no one wants to take their loads, when it is clear they are fleecing the drivers. You and Martin are the best! Stay safe, and God Bless.
Hi Alice and Martin! I wish you both and your family good health. Alice, you are looking nice, like your hair. Wishing safe travels and less stress from bad brokers. ❤😂❤
Alice your making it work and getting throught the day's / night's away
Hey Alice, your truck looks really nice. Drive safely my friend. God bless you.
👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸 👋
Like he is blessed to have you
Yes ma'am its crazy they ship Wisconsin milk to cali to make the cheese then truck it back to Wisconsin to sell lol my cousin works in a creamery were they make the cheese in tulare ca
Purdy all lit up yall take care be safe 🙏
yes i miss nick and his sweet ride nice touch with the music hang in there sending only good vibes your way, wash those socks mister, lol
Exactly the reason I cut my losses early 2023 and sold truck and reefer. Went back to work and never looked back. Trucking is dying slow death for owner operators.
Hey have you ever checked your blood pressure when you have one of your killer headaches? I use to get them and the wife loaded me up one day when I just couldn't get it to go away and took me to our doctor and I was stroke high they put me on blood pressure pills and I don't get them anymore. Just a thought. Keep it safe on the road and for you.
I get maybe a few headaches a year if that, that one was 100% from a bad pillow
Safe Travels out there
Kwik Trip Stroganoff is a staple here. 😂😂😂 Pro Tip: Add a bit of butter to the dry part of the noodles while nuking.
That is some frustrating crap Alice especially on the weekend, time for a backup plan, dump that shipper& broker time is money the truck doesn't make money sitting idle!
Good hot morning yall what a way to wake up miss Alice crazy. Lol Mr Martin always cool brother kicking back lol to cool brother
I miss you guys posting everyday
Martin is a “wealth of knowledge”even for viewers like myself I like how y’all pivoted off that UT (unfortunate situation)rolling with the punches, bad shippers, lying brokers that’s Truckin!🤷🏻♂️
ahh, Three Forks, MT. Went through there so many times, college in Bozeman, parents in Helena.
I also miss Nick!
Until the cold snowy winter
I’ve hauled milk from a dairy in Phoenix to Wisconsin. This is what keeps us in business! Lol
we have the same a cheese plant in central utah
I hate dealing with liars well the real word is broker's I Hall for bimbo so I don't have to deal with that crap to often.
You 2 make a great team together trucking and at home. Me and my wife run teams for 7 years until my truck blew up with me in it but I had the door open and it forced me out into a chain lenc fence she won't get in a truck never again. You to are the best I really do enjoy your channel thank you
I’m a new member miss ALiSE out in Wisconsin I am in Marlette Michigan if you ever travel through Marlette Michigan I’m 53 look for my black Duramax Chevy diesel pick up truck with a silver toolbox in the back where it says of train horns under the toolbox all right Miss ALiSE and my truck has cat flaps and rock tamer flaps on the back of a pick up truck
My sister who is a cashier at Kwik Star in Marshalltown Iowa said that the only thing she wouldn't recommend is the pizza
The pizza can be hit and miss but our local Kwik trip here has had decent pizza.
Glad 2 see U & Mr Martin wrkn 2getter!!!!!!🙌🏾😎👍🏾🇺🇸🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🎯📢📢📢📢📢📢📢📢📽📹🎥📸
Good thing about a reefer is it can double as a dry van double duty lol
Diesel is 7 lbs to the gallon. Thanks for the video
A buddy of mine runs and lives off I90 in Montana calls I80 the Rookie Highway 😂😂
That's why I always get contact info for shippers and relievers.
shipper does not give out their number, nor can it be found online
@@TruckingTogether that’s why they hire brokers. To many manufacturers don’t have enough bodies to get there work done. Now adays the quality of the person that works for you has been degraded immensely. So screw ups happen all the time. So when a shipper or manufacturer screws up he tells the broker can we make this one go away and I will give you the next 3 loads and one of them pays 8 grand. So it’s not the broker it’s the manufacturer. But drivers don’t know this. Only by going inside did I get to learn how trucking really works. If you don’t go inside you don’t know. Simple and fact…
Ran up to Dillon then cut off and went to twin Bridges
Yes! Definitely miss Nick…
Brokers should be gone outa the trucking business this been going on for over 30 yrs. This why i had my own customers
Sumtimez these SHADY BROKERS are DEFINITELY RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!😬🙄🤯😤😠🤬
Missed the little truck icon.
it takes a lot of time to make, so really depends on how big my workload is and what I’m doing if I’m adding it. And by lot of time I mean 30-60 mins depending on mapping
Hey 👋 guys ✌️☮️❤️
Martin appeared so shook up worrying about you out there on the patio in his skibbies and his sippy cup lol. Have you ever made a roast in Coka Cola? Yummy! Brokers suck to high heaven, the end.
Alice, is there a rating or review system for the broker and shipper so that you can let other O/O know not to deal with either?
They think you can't live with out them
Cherry Coke zero sugar is the best
Taking Cheese to Wisconsin is like taking Snow to the Eskimos. Been there done that , and my guess is you are going back to Schreiber Foods in De Pere.
yes, but with a location change to GB
Alice may I ask what kind d of microwave do you have mine makes alot of noise time for a new one
it’s a Galanz 3 in 1 microwave, it air fry’s and bakes also. Got a WalMart for around $100 last year. They make a larger one and smaller mine is the smaller size.
@@TruckingTogether thank you safe Travels
Wow this is like a movie I saw a long time ago ,, Alice in potato wonderland saying I want to go home ,,,I want to go home,,,
That. Trucking.
That's what I thought when you took it out of microwave.
brokers do that just so you can be onsite and move the load.. that broker definitely has a contract theyre on the verge of losing due to complications ( Just assuming)
6:03. Did something happen to velox 18?
no. he’s just missed on youtube
What kind of fuel mileage u getting with your top off and u side off
5.5-8.6 mpg it all depends on weight, speed, wind and hill conditions. For the record Tiny also fluctuates like this on mileage based on conditions listed. So don’t think taking that stuff off hurt it that much as it’s not much off of Tiny’s mpg
Usual reefer BS. Wait here wait there. Always waiting
Reefer games.
That's the whole problem with the brokers Alice and Martin they could care less about drivers as long as they make their money. I sometimes wonder if they work for the government. Hey Alice I think you're to add a little water to the noodles so they don't get dry. Stay Safe guys and Happy Truckin.👍🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸
🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Guys, maybe its time ro look into being your own brokers? Just a thought
That cheese might be from bulls and not heifers.
No offense Ms Alice but Martin and you both should know that once you have the info from the broker that you should just deal directly with the shipper/receiver on those types of issues, and not get this BS from the broker
Not really. You get paid by broker and not shipper/receiver. Payer is the boss. Broker gets paid by shipper/receiver so it is up to broker to jump thru hoops with shipper.
@@roberttaira6943 I understand that, I’m an O/O but a broker will spit out BS just to get you to go to shipper/receiver and “try” to get loaded/unloaded knowing good and well you’ll fail
Not. Brokers just book loads and move on to the next. Cry when they have to work for there cut.
@@roberttaira6943but I think he was more referring to getting timely accurate updates on status of shipper in this situation instead of using a third party/broker.
If you are working and getting paid by the broker that’s who you go to not the manufacturing company. He has hired the broker to take care of all that so no use talking to the mfg.
They let someone else make it and Green Bay takes all the credit.
Eating while driving is a no no in the UK,
This is why we won the war 😂😂
Is there a way to warn other truckers about the broker(s) that waste your time and do not value your services? Since they are shady I am sure they would just change names and run the same scams. But if they got blackballed and went under then that is a win for the industry.
I remember pulling a load of oranges out of California and when I got to Florida they cross docked them.
Took them out of California grown boxes put them into Florida grown boxes. Go figure
But CA oranges look different than FL ones most all the time so…not sure what that would do.
Happens quite a bit
Brokers are nothing but a bunch to face con artist who like scamming truck drivers
Get use to it ,these brokers are out here lying ,I would leave and find something else that broker I bet is a foreigner there is a lot of brokers that are horrible
If you plan on never going there again, I`d have been gone after 4 hrs.
I never get a hotel less its a have to stuation
Hey Alice I mentioned to Kurt trucking with Schmitt about when you had to turn his video off and get back to work he commented back to me and said you and Martin have a great channel. Then I gave him a 👍. Keep your head on a swivel and be safe out there.
Kurt and I are friends in real life lol
@@TruckingTogether cool 👍
@@TruckingTogetherwhat? Your CZcams isn’t real life? Say it isn’t so! 😉
Yes ma'am yalls made for each other ol martins a smart man there going extinct fast lol dang kids washing the lites on his truck there getting younger and younger every day aint they lol
Welcome to trucking, Alice trucking..
When I hauled number.
I did headed 750 miles. To get back to the yard. Made seventy five bucks. It did not want me to So I had to get back up North. Go to shahala's washington Bring back.
Live turkey's pulling double .
To Butterball. To modesto.
I threw that log back away. And I still drove another five Got home took a shower. Grab some clean clothes. After all , that still Drove four more hours. Left that log back home and started a new one.
Yes it's sucks.👍🏽💥🤛🏼🤟🏾🙏🏽😵💫🤷♂️🙋🏽♂️🫶🏼❤️.
Hang in there girl They say it gets bet but i'm still waiting..🤷♂️🤷♂️😎
Jopefully you didnt book that 1st load with tql, because they'll actually say the load is ready when it isn't. And if you alrrady had a situation where the shipper told you they have a problem next time vall the shipper to see if they will be able to load you. Never really believe the broker in a situation like that.
we don’t work with TQL
Lease your trucks to National carriers LLC. Put your Auth to bed . I hang on the shirt tail of the rich when times get tough. 5 gs week
we are not running on our authority
HMMMM? Think that cheese might be going to be used on frozen pizza's to improve their profit margin? Makes you wonder.
Think I would find a cheep load home and start all over again. Just me tho pay for fuel
why when there’s plenty of good paying loads that pay for fuel and then some? that’s just being reactive and kinda silly isn’t it?
Hope neither of you use that broker again & give him a minus rating!!! If you can ever find a good broker do everything you can to keep him happy!!
You might wanna invest in a dry van trailer so you get pull dry freight and not have to wait long time loading expand your trailer options 😉
Reefer turned off IS a dry van…like the baked beans load…
Come on man. 😮
Put that truck in the wind for someone else
