    I’ve decided to go on a durian feast in SS2, today. I’ll pick and select the Musang King and Black Thorn variety on my own.
    One important tip is to make sure there is no hole that has been burrowed by insects.
    Another thing is to ensure that the tip end of the fruit is sealed or not split at all.
    Use your nose to smell it, select the one with a fresh smell or perhaps, look at its stem for freshness. I prefer the freshest fruit from the farm and not a fruit that had been dropped for more than 12 hours from the tree.

      @@RealLifeFruitopia makes sense - because summer is really winter over there. It's just that summer is summer here - so why would any american be there at this time of year?

    • @RealLifeFruitopia
      @RealLifeFruitopia  Před měsícem +1

      @@extropiantranshuman 93 million Americans travel outside of the US each year. I guess Durian isn't a priority for most of them.

    • @extropiantranshuman
      @extropiantranshuman Před měsícem

      @@RealLifeFruitopia it's not native to the americas nor europe - so it wouldn't make sense to be consuming foreign fruit when local fruit is already available - and many exotic! Not to mention the aversion to certain tastes - for me - I don't really consume alliums, like onions, and durian tastes like onions - but I agree - americans and europeans love it! Maybe by the time the durian comes that way - it doesn't taste as great - so the bad experiences keep them away?
      I guess it's still a mystery - you're right.

    Glad you made it to your dream fruit market guys. Don't think i'd bother going there lol. As I said before Durian is a take it or leave it fruit for me, the flesh is just too creamy, heavy and rich for my palate lol. I prefer a light, crisp, refreshing fruit taste in my mouth 😂. But i get why people are addicted to them 👍
