It is a most-exciting day! Today I will be building and flying a miniature Saturn V replica, in order to perform a 1 Kerbal re-enactment of the Apollo Missions - our tiny answer to the Apollo Rockets will see a solo Jebediah Kerman manage both the piloting of the command pod, and landing of the lunar lander, all by himself! Exciting things lie ahead!

I really love the mini-scale missions personally, something very Kerbal about them. Ditto for the micro-space stations.

to fix the docking bug all you have to do is fiddle with the doohicky and turn the right cog left in the discombobulator, hope this helps!

You know that instead of using fairings to shape the stages when u put a bigger decoupler under an engine the fairing auto adapt so u can make it more accurate without trying to mess with fairings
Even tho of course for the last stage ur forced to use Farings

17:00 it's a shame CZcamss killing your videos early. Your older KSP1 videos probably average 1 million views. Seeing essentially 1/3 of your old audience come back is pretty reasonable; I'd say, even outside your channel, at least 1/3 of us are not bots :).
In the beginning I said you should limit the ratio of Ksp1:Ksp2 to be 2:1. KSP 1 has thousands of mods while Ksp2 hasn't matured enough to keep up with that rate. For all your genuine creativity, an artist can only paint a few distinct canvases with only one shade of color.

You can make a true interstage that separates by itself by using a tube with a decoupler. Place the tube on top of the decor-let, but then move it so it’s below it.

You basically made the Apollo LESS craft. Just spare parts with fuel from the disable craft on the surface of the moon, and then they return to lunar orbit by eye balling it.

I've managed to get KSP2 Working, I got an RTX 2060 firstly but my power supply which was 500W was tripping so I had to upgrade to a 700W one and that got everything working

3:20 The 22 foot and 27.5 foot versions of the S-II were supposed to have 4 J-2s. Sure, only the 33 foot version was built, and it had 5 J-2s, but still.

I think you should now put the mini saturn 5 on top of a bigger one and launch that to the moon.
What's the fix to edit the save file to get the orbital line back? I've got my Apollo style lander stuck on the Mun with that exact problem! (Also when I tried to take off without it and just eyeballing the trajectory, when I switched to the CSM and back, my ascent stage suddenly had 0 velocity and dropped straight down)
Video idea: Make a Jool 5 mission in KSP 2.
Umm one tip lol is to actually use fairings to get scale and to csm module to get that silver metal skin on it
