Harry Redknapp on the pod one day please 👍
He’s been on lad
@@TubbyBrewster11 has he! I'll have to look for it, cheers 👍
@@haydnevans2978 was one of the BBC ones I think
@@cannsawv2 cheers buddy 👍
@@haydnevans2978 think it's on the spotify too, boss!
as a Sunderland man (living in London) Defoe will always be a legend and forever in our hearts. #LongLiveBradleyLowery
Love the way JD speaks about goals. Just loves em
Van Der Vaart would be an incredible podcast. A lot of stories to tell about his beef with Zlatan, his time at madrid, his love for Spurs and the fact he's incredibly fond of a pint!
Ticket podcast, Jermaine's the most underrated striker ever hands down
Jermaine carries himself so well, what a legend. Hope he manages in the prem one day.
I always knew Jermaine was a Legend off the field this just cement's it
Banger episode 🔥
Can’t remember the year but there was a time (maybe a couple of times) when Utd were linked with Defoe… think he’d have scored a tonne of goals for us. Always loved the way he took his shots so early, with very little back lift, didn’t allow the keeper to get set with their feet and inevitably bagged goal after goal. Also a big shout out for the time he took with the young Sunderland fan who unfortunately passed away… a proper player and top bloke 🙌
always wanted to see defoe and robbie keane at utd. think they both would of gone up a level, or more
Think those early shots can be attributed to Wright's influence
Too young to remember us missing out on gazza. But only missing out on Shearer annoys me more than us never singing Defoe. What a player. Would of scored loads for United!!!!
Defoe one of the most underrated English striker. Thought he could of gone to the next level. Great attitude. Would of liked to see him at Liverpool. 😉 Amazing attitude and hard working.
It was mad having defoe and crouch up top for pompey. Good memories
One of the best times at fratton Park
Jermain Defoe once a ranger, always a ranger 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧💙
JD comes across as genuine, professional and a great guy
As someone from Portsmouth watching these 2 play together was amazing. What a great podcast aswel. So good to hear all your old memories.
Even as an Arsenal fan, I can’t help but love crouch and Defoe
defoe and crouch as a partnership were very underated!
Crouchy is an amazing bloke always smiling with great sense of humor. Top clobber!
My childhood! I'm just smiling throughout this whole episode. Now that I'm an adult all Tottenham give me is close call heart attacks lol
Lol.. true. #coys
I mean, this has to be the best colab of all time on a podcast!!! Amazing!!!
Dave was on fire this podcast. Love it boys!!!
Thanks Joe
I’ve been supporting Spurs since 1970 and JD will always be one of my favourite ever strikers, I’ve wished him well at every club he’s played with, a legend on and off the pitch. As an Irish man I was baffled that Walcott went to the 2006 WC ahead of JD, absolutely disgraceful…..
What a fantastic episode lads, well done 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
We need a part 2 please Mr. Crouch-ey
Yes the lads are back!!! What a player he was him and Crouchy are quality 💙⚽️
Love Defoe man what a top bloke! Defoe and crouchy best partnership
Loved when they were talking about van der vaart and pavlyuchenko. Wish they spoke about those players and that team for hours. Glad these two teamed up on the pitch and on the podcast.
Great watch/listen
Peter and Defoe levelled up with England, you could see it in their game after
These guys together are class on and off the pitch and add harry Redknapp and no wonder they were all so successful 😀⚽️💙
Class man JD 👏🏻
Crouch and Wright Phillips was another good duo. Thought they complimented each other well leading up to the 06 World Cup.
loving the podcasts only recently stumbled on them, just wondering where i can see the rest of the episodes that arent on CZcams
Great Episode 🏆
Loved jd at rangers. Guy was outstanding and was great to see him win a title
I could listen to Defoe every week!
Love the pod. Qpr fan remember peter scoring a goal off his arse/back when he closed the keeper down lol. Legend
Early days of the prem I remember every time I watched West ham play JD would come on & score.. I was ecstatic when he signed for spurs, what a player...
Why not give England job to Harry Rednapp? A true legend of the game, how many players came thru Harry?
Its crazy to even think of
Love Defoe absolute gent
Great player in the premier league for years
What he did for that wee boy Bradley was class 👏🏻🇬🇧🙌🏻
Great podcast
So good with guests on, please get more boys
We love it:)
Love the guy - like every rangers fan does 💙
Still hitting the side netting love that
I think when it comes to GK coaches, surely having a great Striker like a Defoe coaching them would help the GK think 'I know what that Striker will do now' because as a Striker they could teach the GK's what is going on in their heads at that time.
Good to see Eleven is helping out with the pod.
Berbatov on the pod please. It was great hearing Jamie talk about Berba, remembering back his class
I'm a Liverpool fan and you don't get to play for us if you are average crouchy put's himself down to much he was a great player we loved him and 99% of Liverpool fans were dying for him to score when he went his first 14-15 he games without scoring all through that time he never hid and made a huge difference to the team in other ways he had skill a football brain and not only that he brought humour to anfield I loved him and was gutted when he left great player great bloke it was a pleasure to watch him
Proper Spurs legends!
Loved this pod good to see a dynamic duo in action ❤️ J and P were good too 😉
Can we get a part 2
Word to Ian Wright ❤️
Love your podcast Crouchy! Been a Spurs fan since 2001, watched you and J and man what a ride! I live in Seattle and that's why I started supporting Spurs because of Kasey Keller (my buddy should have gone over but had a kid instead 😄). Anyway, I am a Seattle season ticket holder and exactly like J is saying, it's fun, it's football, but it doesn't mean anything over here with only an MLS Cup playoffs. Playoffs are lame (IMO) but whatever. I actually rooted for J at that game because he's one of my favorite players, but I get what he's saying. WE ARE LOUD!!!! 😆Cheers!!!
I'm an English man, but now live in LA. I get what you say about the MLS, but check out LAFC, it's bonkers every home game.
You can tell at the end of this cast the brewdog has hit crouchy , slurring his words a bit 😂
Too young to remember us missing out on gazza. But only missing out on Shearer annoys me more than us never singing Defoe. What a player. Would of scored loads for United!!!!
Great pod! As an Arsenal fan I hate basically all Spurs players except these two and Ledley King. This ep was really enjoyable, Defoe has an elite mindset but also seems like a fun guy.
An ad per minute really enhances the viewer experience. Great work
Complaining about ads on free content, good one 👍 YT premium is a fiver a month if it bothers you that much
On another note, I’ll never forget going to the bridge for a game against West Ham and seeing that Glenn Roder had made the mistake of not starting Defoe…..kept warning my cousin about how good he was and he scored within 10 minutes of coming on at the end of the game….biggest testament I can give him as a rival supporter!…always a threat from the first minute of his career to the last 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Defoe saying fucking hell is too relatable
So many keepers became managers. Nuno Espirito Santo, Zoff, Lopetegui, Zenga, Chercheshov, Walker, Preud'homme, Grim, Bryan Gunn David James...
Defoe had such a great career.
Harry redknapp: "Craaaaachy and Juh-main De-foe, wuh ya know"
remember Jermain Defoe was the first 5 star shiny footy card I got and rated him ever since 😂
We are like the Australian version of crouchy and JD
The driscoll brothers
I wanna buy everyone in the pub a drink, and heres a pound....and i want change..
"Large Cognac please Michael"
🤣🤣🤣🤣 so funny
Afc B legend!!
Love the thumbnail
Pompey fan 🧐
?
Nuno Espirito Santo was a keeper... think he's a decent manager :)
A good goalie is rare. Period . Never mind one good enough to lead a squad out
Mr Lineker be realistic eating crisps is cannibalistic
I do feel like this Pod lacked a little touch or nod towards Bradley Lowery. Jermaine loved that kid and honestly, I would have loved to hear him speak about him again.
Was hoping to hear stuff about rangers
When you played for QPR Crouchy used to call you Bambi cos like me tall skinny tripping myself up but.........i said to my buddy you'd play for England and more than once, he said back it up so thanks for the £100 I owe you beers mate 😎 🤘❤🕊🤣
Alvarez scored 6 goals in 1 game for one of his last river plate games
That Ramsdale message was so much like a Karl Pilkington thing...
Why do I sound like Defoe when I'm on the packet 😂
Excuse me?
Haha, in what exactly lad? Bloke does talk quick
I love JD
I went full time at 16 in reserve league but what Defoe says I was the smallest player in team I was number 9 or 10 like him getting put in with the older age group I wasn't scoring 3 or 4 like him but it pushed me that was 2004/05 now they dont
Who else has been waiting for this episode to happen for yonks?
9:14 - he did score an overhead kick after 40 seconds. Utd won 3-1. 3-points-lane
Goalkeepers aren't footballers, they're goalkeepers hahahahaha
Prashnt Bushan ji ❤❤
He’s deffo on the packet🤣
Nah he’s always talked fast like that.
JD 🔴⚪️🔵
Does Crouch actually not realise why there's less GKs as managers? There's far far less GKs than there are any other position
That 5 goal notch against Wigan….the fifth goal crouchy said he should have squared for him?!…not in a million years mate!😂…..JD had just the keeper to beat and PC had 2 defenders around him?!🤷🏻♂️😂….instinctive play from an instinctive player on all the goals…..sorry crouchy, at least you got the first!😂……from a Chelsea supporter 💙
Suprised he didn’t mention Brad Friedel being a coach
Love too see stevie g on the pod one day! 🤞
Jermain defoe n that
Who's second most 90th min goals? Is it Origiiiii🤣
😂🤣
Pass the pod
Pass ours around while you're there please
Dya know wat does my head in ?? People who are clowns and shite podcasts get more views and subscribers than this channel ..deserves way more I love watching these ..crouchy your a top bloke 👏🏻👍🏻💪🏻
2.7% of managers in PL have been GK???
Considering the specialisation of the role, that's pretty decent. Consider a squad of x30 players has X3 Goalkeepers, that would mean 10% of squad is GK and 90% is outfield.
I met defoe in 2011 whilst walking thru woodford, he was with a woman but still stopped to talk for a minute. He's a propa normal guy.
Its a shame he never got a chance at a big club during his peak
You're right. He had a good career and made a shed load of money but he was never automatic first choice at a top club.
Jose Mourinho was a GK
No
His son is
@@sambarber4634 he was
@@Monkeypole so was he
Nope, his dad was. He was a forward, and not that good.
Like the pod but there'S something weird about Chris Stark. Only ever laughs at his own jokes and seems like an overgrown school boy.
Didn't know where Bournemouth was wtf 😐
Lol he was just a kid at the time tbf
Crouchy is hooned
