Hm I’v learned something new. I would go with tack solution, but now I understand that I will lock a lot of solution that way. Thank you !
I have tried tack solution before and it can become a real pain real quick!
My gosh nice video Eric. Glad my MY did not have recessed letters!
No kidding, hey!?
Would gel help out more in this situation?
Yeah, Gel would be good to use for this!
Hey Eric. When doing the full hood, do you address the letters first or after laying everything else? TIA
LOL. Never mind. I caught it the second time I watched it. ;)
🤣🤣🤣
My new Silverado 2500 was a pain in the ass. I ended up carefully hand cutting letters out.
Letters are tough! That’s for sure!!
What brand of PPF did you use?
Defense+
It would be better to see a complete hood instal because I am pretty sure a client wouldnt want just Superduty protected. lol
We did do the full hood, but for the sake of this video, I just wanted to focus on these letters, so I did them with left over PPF.
@@DriveProtected Oh then I must have missed that video.
Great. I have started keeping my steamer handy for things like this as well. When not using the hot water from the steam for the film, I will set my tack solution on top of it with a towel around for radiant heat to keep it warm. 🤌
Great idea!!
