  • In our last video I talked about some of the greatest suburbs in the Madrid Metropolitan Area, but I deliberately left those around the A6 highway (my personal favorites) for this video.
We are talking about Pozuelo de Alarcón, Boadilla del Monte, Majadahonda, Las Rozas de Madrid, Collado Villalba and the Sierra de Guadarrama villages and, last but not least, San Lorenzo del Escorial.

Now tell us... which suburb did you like the most? Do you know any suburb I did not talk about and you would have liked to see? Where would you rather live if you were to come to Madrid?

Thank you very much for your kind comment @rodneynadasen481 !! About your question, Valdefuentes is a neighborhood in the northern limit of Hortaleza district, that covers the residential areas of Sanchinarro, Valdebebas, Virgen del Cortijo, Las Cárcavas, and El Encinar de los Reyes.
I've already talked about Sanchinarro in some of my videos, and right now it's the only one I'd really recommend, if your intention is to live for 1 to 5 years. The reason for this is that Valdebebas is a neighborhood that has limited commuting options to the rest of the city, with only one Cercanías station, so it's quite car-dependent.
But if you're planning to buy, the area of Valdebebas is very hot now, with a lot of new construction going on, and in a decade, the price will have increased considerably, so it's a great investment option.
As for schools, there are not many options, with only St. George International School in Sanchinarro, but you would be very close to La Moraleja, that hosts some of the most prestigeous International Schools in the whole country.
If you want specific video about this area, I'll put it on my 'to do' list ;)
