XCOM 2: Battle music suite

- This is a collection of different themes which play during combat in XCOM 2, you may have noticed the in-game music is dynamic depending on whose turn it is, I haphazardly stitched both XCOM and ADVENT tracks together to form a 20 minute assortment which will alternate between the two. It's mostly for me which is why I didn't put much effort into it unfortunately, it took roughly 8 minutes in audacity to make.
The songs are ripped from the game itself so I don't have any names for the tracks featured.

Man, this game has an absolutely masterful flow of heart-soaring heroism and soul-gnawing dread. The grand orchestra that plays on your turn, followed by the uneven synth of the Alien’s turn perfectly portrays a constantly shifting tide of combat that is truly anyone’s game.

Thyferra That track almost always seems to play whenever shit gets bad. Like, 2 Sectopods and a Shieldbearer kinda bad.

Hmmm, still can't decide whether Outpost or Ambush is better. I like the general 'tense' nature and rhythm of Ambush, but the heroic feel of XCOM outpost and the menacing feel of ADVENT Outpost makes the decision that much harder.

How did you rip these from the game? There are a few soundtrack files in the local files but none of them correspond to the "alien turn" versions. Did you just record them while the game was playing or something?

I don't think Xcom 2 had as good battle music as Xcom 1, but it does have an absolutely kickass Ready For battle theme

5 unites overwatched on the final mission, consciously know theres a room full of stun lancers, have 2 snipers set up with kill zone and 3 others ready to go, send my ranger ahead to end the turn. *5* misses and my max rank dead ranger later...
