🚨PSA: Not everyone is a HA filler candidate (and fillers last longer than you think)!
☹️This beautiful patient, who has a history of fluid retention, was injected with HA fillers 8 years ago which resulted in chronic swelling. If you have #malaredema, don’t get any HA fillers - as that will make the condition worse.
👨‍⚕️The treatment for this condition is not easy and requires patience. Our first recommendation is to modify lifestyle by cutting down on salts and preservatives in the diet. Sleeping on your face will reduce lymphatic flow and cause more swelling. At times we dissolve the fillers and combine the treatment with either co2 laser or morpheus RF.
