if you're looking for high musicality, delicious bass, amazing vocals, and fantastic arrangement, LUCY is the right band. their main genre is not rock, it's more ambience pop which means they incoorporate real sounds and attempt to create a sense of space, hence the ost feels in most of their songs.
- yechan (92) has been playing violin for 20 years and was classicaly trained until he decided that he likes band songs and busking more. he was in a popular busking group prior to LICY
- the main vocal & guitar, Sangyeop (94) was also a busker and a professional BGM producer for plenty of kdramas and osts prior to lucy.
- wonsang (96) the bassist & producer is a (i'm not even exaggerating) genius. before lucy, he already produced and involved in many other idol songs, like WJSN, younha, montsax, etc. he's famous amongst korean musician for his iconic 6(!!) strings bass.
- our drummer & vocal, gwangil (97) started out his career as a bassist and a vocalist, but since LUCY didn't have a drummer, he volunteered for the role. he is a one man band who can play almost any instruments. amazingly, he also excel in writing and composing (thats just not fair)
they met during a survival show called Superband and won as a runner up. the vocalist during the show was Lee Juhyuk, but he decided to part because he was already in another band. so they recruited Sangyeop and debuted with that line up.
their music is famous for it's comforting, wholesome, and relatable lyrics about life yet playfull. as you can see, they all already a full fledge musician before debut, thats why their music can be considered more sophisticated for pop music.

LUCY is absolutely amazing. Ever since I saw the MV for their debut song "Flowering" I was hooked. They're one of the few artists where I love 100% of their discography.
