Thank you so much for reacting to Lucy! Literally one of my favorite groups of all time. I think Wonsang, the bassist, bring such a unique style to the songs he writes and produces. Wonsang likes to use ambient sounds in his songs- like a river runningn, waves crashing, wind, fireworks, laughter, etc- and it makes the music so otherworldly. 💙🐶
Their age being on the older side (than other groups debuted in 2020) is because they all have been doing music since before Superband. Maybe if we count their actual debut days, they also started pretty young.
The contestants of that show are all musicians with incredible skills, talents, and experiences under their belts. They just lacked the recognition, exposure, and popularity.
Among all of the groups birthed from the show's final round, I am pretty sure LUCY is the only one actively promoting to date. And I am very glad they do so. Their music is too good to be buried.

omg!! thank you for taking your time to react to Lucy! prior to superband & Lucy, the members already had an established career as musicians, like yechan was part of another famous busking band, wonsang produced music for idols, sangyeop producing instrumentals bgm and ost for dramas, and gwangil also composing music himself while being a trainee, so... yeah, they're older. AND thats also why they're really advanced musically. like their music and arrangement are on another level. many musicians and fans considered their songs a challenge to cover due to its difficultes. each members can composed, write lyrics and arrange, but they mostly releases wonsang's works ('release' being the key word coz they have many unreleased songs from members that just stuck on sclould or just a performance).
fun fact: gwangil originally is not a drummer!! he's a vocalist that was roped into being the drummer. look at him now being a very skilled drummer ^^
if you want to dive more into their music, i recommend a fan favourite titled 'Snooze' and my personal favourite, 'Rolling Rolling'

LUCY's concept and music in general is just ... healing. Magic. Hope. Comforting words written beautifully like poetry. It's sometimes bittersweet. They encourage us to embrace our inner child. All their songs are flawless. They always make me gasp, they take my breath away witch each chorus and bridge they sing and play.
I recommend you check the rest of their MVs because they are really good. I think you will love the violin solo from Snooze. Rolling Rolling is also really good. Hero and Jogging are warm and cute. And Stove and Flare are masterpieces, the music art at its finest. And I'm not even talking about songs like Prequel and Sequel, and other B sides that are magnificent.

This was fun, I usually watch their MVs only a few times and then add to my K-band playlists so I haven't watched some of these in a while. LUCY has lots of OSTs too, don't you think they are perfect for that? I think my favorite song by them is Snooze, but really the messages in their songs are so comforting. There was a video of the bassist, Wonsang and Onewe's bassist, Giuk and another bassist, Jeongho, doing covers of songs and they all play different bass guitars (4, 5 and 6 string bass, Wonsang is known for playing the 6 string bass) and it was so interesting. czcams.com/video/jjgg1beAyAA/video.html

I’d love to see more reactions, for more summer jam session songs try Jogging and I got u, if you want to be mesmerized by the violin solos and musical intricacies try snooze and stove. In any of their songs also put and ear out for the bass line, part of what makes Lucy so unique is having a bassist as the main producer and it shows.

They are met through JTBC program called Superband where many musicians around South Korea gathered to make a band by their own choice and compete with each other. Basically, yeah, they are already a pro player before finally deciding to do a music together as a band. So no wonder their musicality is superb even in their early days as Lucy 😅 If you have time, I really recommend you to check out more their songs because all of them are incredible 🥰🥰

Thank you for listening to LUCY with sincerity 🥰 I don’t know if you react to songs without videos, but my favorite songs by LUCY are “Hot!”, “You’re Right”, “BUDDY”, “Straight Line”, “Watermelon” and “Enough”. I strongly recommend listening through their whole discography, because they are truly so talented.
