Also u have 3.5 million inhabitants in Douala compared to 14.5 million in Lagos alone. Keep in mind cameroon's population is 26 million compared to Nigeria 206 million. I mean really? I am from Cameroon and have been to both Lagos & Douala. Lagos is definitely way more developed especially going towards the victoria island area. The other parts not so much. Douala has a lot to do and is way behind but developments are being made as in both countries. You would be better off comparing to a country w similar stats & population. Hopefully we all get better but there isn't a comparison here 😕. Lagos wins hand down.
I just wanted to add. I was only in Lagos for a couple days so I don't know much about living long term, safety, pay etc. I also have been to Calaba & couple other places. Douala was my city growing up and I loved & had the best memories & would still pick it over any city bc I'm biased lol. My 2nd living choice would b coastal cities like kribi or Limbe. Regardless hopefully we all work hard to improve our individual regions.
