The sound from the 90's is back!! Love it. Brings me back to the Boston local music scene from the mid 90's. Would love to see an "all ages" New England tour date. I want to take my 15yo son to see your show so he can hear what real music sounds like.
After a few listens, well quite a few lol, this track is quite simply beautiful! So happy they reformed but on their terms, the right reasons for them!
Late to the show... heard this cut driving through Knoxville, TN, around 7:30 pm on 2023Dec26 listening to the student-run WUTK (FM 90.3 - 'UT's College of Rock'). Immediately captivated by the band's vintage, throwback sound. Anyway, got home and, being old school, ordered the CD. Tanya Donelly's vocals are reminiscent of three of my fem fatales: Hope Sandoval (Mazzy Star), Anne Preven (Ednaswap), and Donnette Thayer (Game Theory)... so finding a new old band to deep dive into is a welcome way to enter 2024.
so i was a massive throwing Muses fan, then played my Pod tape till it wore out, life changed and i didnt really get the same passion for either breeders post pod or belly. Took a punt on the breeders tour last year and loved it, inspired me to take a chance on the Belly Pledge and im so glad, hushabye mountain and now Shiny One are my two favourite Belly tracks, cant wait to hear the rest.
I had to stop driving today and write down who this is.... I'm so glad I did. Wow!!!! it's so refreshing to hear real music.Thank you so much.
