So amazing I ride western myself and I just love the bond between horse and rider ๐
I ride western to it's hell fun and I'm in the process of learning to rope
I ride western and it is so fun I hope to learn all of the rodeo events
I don't ride western cuz we can't find a saddle that fits my horse but me and her have the best bond I can let her out of her paddock without a lead and she will follow me everywhere

I barrel race, do rodeo, hunt with a bow, fish, do cows, have 2 quarter horses and a dairy farm where I live. Iโm 13. Is total we have 18 horses, and 32 milkin cows

Iโm 10 have my one two barrel horses fastest one I have ever met and 6 dogs 2 meat cows 6 horses on my farm 2 bunnies and 3 cats well one cat is missing so 2 cats and I ride all the horses itโs a lot of work

Now, Iโm more of a punk rock and metal fan but thereโs nothing wrong with listening to this every now and then when I need some motivation:)
i love how you make videos for all disciplines, we may ride in different saddles but we all love our horses. barrel racing and rodeo often get called abuse, the reason i ride western is because both my horse and i enjoy it more, she always pins her ears when i ride her until we run barrels, she gets to engage and she knows what to do. she loves running barrels and flying through the arena. she gets this confidence i don't see in her often, she knows that she can do it and beat the clock. the excitement she shows when we start a barrel run is infectious and it makes me so happy knowing she loves what she does. we all want to give our horses a job they love and I've been able to give her that. rodeo and horses have helped me so much with mental illness and fear, when i get in the saddle it's as if i'm fearless. i know that with together her and i can do anything, when we run the only thing that matters is each other, getting each other to the finish line safely.

Living in the country and having horses and cows and working on the farm is always the life I wish I had but I am 14 and live in wisconsin near milwaukee so I will never get that life
Dont give up, just start saving for that life. Im the same way, dreaming of that life, though I have family with horses and cows im around all the time, I live in michigan in the tricities. Just keep going.
I love this so much! Right now I am training a Clydesdale mare that had 30 days on her when she was 4 and now she is 8 she my barrel pony๐ she is 16.1 and she is all ready beating so horses at barrels she has a turn on her

I did my first ever barrel sequence yesterday and I'd never ridden western before at all! (obviously, quite slowly lol) and it was so much fun! I'm not competitive but this is a really fun sport.

This gives me sm motivation to remind me what I'm working for! I am a barrel racer/pole bender/ reiner in training (I'm working on assortments of things), been riding my whole life. I can't afford my own horse, so I bull ride. By bull riding, I mean just my bottle cow, Moose. I'm currently training him for Reining, he's getting his spins down well! I'm 13 and he's 11 months old. Can't wait to perform with him!
