He’s in a bizarre spot where he’s representing himself. I always think of how I’d act in the same situation with the same contexts. Assumed innocent, how would I come across or what would I say? I agree! I think he’s being honest & he’s so fed up with this dragging out & now it’s his time to talk & he has no problem laying everything out on the table. The prosecutor seems to be the one who’s getting disheveled over things. Meanwhile the defendant is cool as a cucumber. If he’s lying I don’t think there would be so much detail in what he’s saying. I also agree with the other comment above…a lot of the ppl who watch these trials automatically think the defendant is guilty. It’s hard to watch while a trial is live because of all the comments attacking a defendant or their attorneys before the opening statements have even finished. I like to listen to both sides & see all evidence before saying someone is guilty. I also only take into consideration what’s brought in at a trial. I’ve learned through other cases how some district attorneys will go on news outlets putting out false statements & saying they have different evidence than what they actually have just to try to taint a potential jury pool. So if it doesn’t come in at trial, I don’t consider anything I heard outside of the trial because it’s being kept out for a reason. I’m glad to see the few of us here who actually listen to both sides. What’s scary is how many ppl who don’t do that (judging by the comments themselves)..imagine being accused of something you didn’t do but the majority of ppl already have you convicted in their mind. And to think those same ppl make up some of the jury. I feel like it’s so hard to get an impartial jury these days

Everyone commenting on how arrogant snarky attitude he has. I bet if anyone in the world gets accused of murder. Spends years in prison for something you didn’t do and 6 years later still trying to prove your innocence, with a prosecutor being even more arrogant and snarky while trying to take your freedom away would probably act the same way.
Also everyone is forgetting that he turned down a plea deal of time served just to prove his innocence. Now anyone that is truly guilty of a crime and is looking at life in prison, takes it to trial not thinking they might be found innocent but why not try to get 20 years instead of 30 (example). This guy could have had time served. So I look at it as he’s not going to trial just to try and get a few years shaved off but all to do with being found innocent because he is.
