I've only heard of Jimmy Carr through y'all. This is the first bit I've heard of him. And as an American......I love it. These are things that need to be said to Americans more regularly
Watched Jimmy in Bristol many years back. He did a skit where he got 2 people on the stage & forced them to interact whilst filling their mouths full of marshmallows. Guy nearly choked, Jimmy made a comment about nearly killing him, followed by "at least you're not diabetic!" The guys mumbled a reply & waved his hands. Jimmy said "what?". Guy spat out the marshmallows and said, whilst wiping tears from his face post-choking, "I AM diabetic" and proudly pointed to his bracelet. Jimmy went white, audience absolutely died laughing! Was so damn funny. I still laugh about that whenever I see marshmallows!
I was raised in the 1970's before there was p.c culture so very little offends me and if I think it will I simply switch it off and watch something else and I don't worry about it.
as it should be! it's so simple. and i was born in 97 lol i'm an emotional guy tbh but i love comedy, especially dark humor, so none of it really offends me. What turns me off is just lazily written jokes
Been watching all your comedy reaction videos and I'm enjoying it! Though I wish you guys would react more to Norm Macdonald, his talkshow jokes on Conan would be great like "Most Convoluted Joke Ever" or "Moth Joke." All in all great reaction as always!

I don't know anyone who's actually tried to cancel anyone or been offended at any level by comedy. Some might not find a particular comedian funny & they resolve that by just not watching 😆 The media (especially gossip magazines) don't do actual reporting or critique anymore. We're in an era where articles are literally quotes from comments sections of CZcams & random twitter users - like 'Barry2356s' opinion is the leading voice for all & we should be as outraged & offended as well 😂 We need to stop giving so much weight to these lazy opinion pieces. I wouldn't even be surprised to learn these journalists wrote the "I'm offended" comments themselves, to make sure their story get clicks & a headline.

Yeah I've only heard it from comedians with massive podcasts and/or million dollar netflix specials which makes absolutely no sense to me. Seems like it boils down to being unfairly criticized by morons on the internet which is just every famous person I'd assume.
the new special was dissapointing though... not as edgy as the title implies and then he literally prefaced each and every slightly offensive joke by actually saying: " this is going to be offensive". I understand that he is afraid of cancel culture, but, as a fan of J C, I was dissapointed by His Dark Material. Also, he's on podcasts to sell his new book but the things he says are direct plagiarisms from books by Tim Robbins, John Greene, Peterson etc. I'm sorry for that because, again, i did tune it for all of it as a massive fan of his. Till now...:-( this special featured here though I enjoyed a lot! Happy Holidays and may 2022 be much much happier for us all( still sad for Sean Lock passing)
I don't want to doubt his humour but ... I feel like his style of comedy is still good but not as unique as it was, slowly getting flooded with similar comedians
