- Hi! Real winter has come, a lot of snow has piled up, there are severe frosts outside, that day it was -25°C and I thought that I had not visited my underground house for a long time. My house was heavily covered in snow, and it took quite a while to dig out the door. It's as always very warm and cozy inside! the roof sank a little due to the frost and the door had to be repaired, but these are all minor things! Spent a wonderful night in a winter wonderland! Thus is the only downfall of having an underground dugout, when the snow comes it'll buy it. But still an awesome experience and thing to have.

Woods always swells in rain or snow or even to much humidity. Growing up living in south Florida we had a solid wood door and certain parts of the year we had to slam our door shut with force because it didn't want to close.
Yes high humidity or wet weather plays havoc with our wooden front door too.Been cold and dry so closing quite easily at the moment ( UK )
a fold down back rest for your bed to make it into a couch while you're sitting.

Really nice, but I'm still thinking - - "For what purpose?" I'm not subscribed, and so I may not fully appreciate the project, but still - -"What's it all for?" And, where is the toilet? Does he have one? Need one ??? Whew !! & What happens if you get snowed in and despite having a shovel, the weight of the snow on the door is too much and you can't get out ?? Then what ? I'm thinking that that was CO detector. Good Idea! A smoke detector would be a good idea too! BOTH, in fact !! Is that his camera filming himself on the outside, or is there actually another person present ? Same question for the interior space. I'm thinking that this may be where we should leave D. Trump, without any shoes and socks or matches, and just walk away. . .
