    Great video! I am also similar in enjoying the clean modern car or the old school 911 type style. If you’re looking for video ideas - I’ve enjoyed watching videos of passengers reacting to acceleration and have not seen too many with the LR (they are typically Performance).

Also I am actually quite surprised to learn how much you like this car compared to the eTron. I think that I should go take one for a test drive. Thanks for another interesting video. Glen

      I like to drive dynamically and a big fat suv isn’t really suited for it. About the one foot drive, you get used very quickly to the point that I’m now annoyed to drive another car 😊. Drive one and make your opinion 👍🏼

    • @will850
      @will850 Před 2 lety +1

      One pedal driving is a software setting, you can also use standard modes. But since my first test drive I never used anything else. And driving in the mountains (I am from Austria) is so enjoyable using this mode.

    • @WiZe1972
      @WiZe1972  Před 2 lety

      @@will850 Totally agree and as I said on the video, contrary to Audi, Tesla has a real one foot pedal driving. On the Audi, I will always have to brake at a certain point

  • @flyingdutch18
    @flyingdutch18 Před 2 lety +3

    I got mine, an M3P, two months ago. I’ve never owned a more exciting and fun and easy to drive car. Just perfect. The range of course is lower than yours, I average 20 kWh/km which is very good for such a sporty car. The efficiency is flawless in stop and go traffic and less on highways. The sound system is awesome. You should use high quality FLAC signals to really feel it. - What I would be interested to watch? Comparisons with other electric cars from the legacy makers. Why? To learn whether they can catch up with Tesla which they so far have failed miserably. The distance between them and Tesla has only become bigger thereby justifying the crazy high stock market cap of Tesla.

    • @WiZe1972
      @WiZe1972  Před 2 lety +1

      I would have loved to have the Performance but I had to keep my budget low. I will consider the 2k acceleration boost at some time. Legacy automakers still have a long way to go as their electric cars are always full of compromises

  • @tneu3314
    @tneu3314 Před 2 lety

    Standard Range has RWD and 325 hp and - also important - it weighs only about 1800 kg. Acceleration is not as brutal as with a LR or Performance, but overall it feels more sporty in handling because of the reduced weight and RWD only. And it's a damn good offer pricewise. Keep up the good work!

    • @WiZe1972
      @WiZe1972  Před 2 lety +1

      Yep but Switzerland being (Mostly) an alpine country, people largely prefers the all wheel drive one. Would like to drive the SR. Thanks for watching

    Would like to hear what you think of the autopilot version you have.

    • @WiZe1972
      @WiZe1972  Před 2 lety +1

      I call it a “glorified cruise control” Unfortunately, European rules have killed FSD, making it worthless. My enhanced autopilot have the auto lane change, which I didn’t have in the Audi but on the other hand, as the Tesla system relies on the GPS for the speed limits, it is not reliable

      Not worth the money. Ipace is just a basic ev. Things that are standard in a Tesla, costs extra for others and still not as good.

    • @richardh3587
      @richardh3587 Před 2 lety

      @@Chris-yr6gu I guess I don’t care about the “extra” stuff that Tesla offers like Netflix, fart mode, sentry mode, etc. I do care about the stuff they don’t offer though.

    • @cornishblue58
      @cornishblue58 Před 2 lety

      I’m just changing from IPace to Tesla Model 3. IPace is lovely, drives well, but the charging infrastructure for non Tesla in the UK is not adequate. The Model 3 is less money too, has better technology, which is continually being updated. The only updates I had in 3 years owning the IPace was to fix bugs. I’m not dissing the IPace, but would seriously consider the Model 3 as an alternative.

    • @richardh3587
      @richardh3587 Před 2 lety

      @@cornishblue58 thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately, there are too many deal breakers with the model 3 (for me). One example is the mandatory fake leather seats - I can’t stand that material in any car. Also can’t bear the thought of giving money to Elon musk in any way…I think he’s awful. Yeah the non Tesla charging network isn’t great in the US either but I’d be charging at home for 95% of my trips anyway so not as big of a factor. Am aware that I’m unlikely to get new features via software updates but I’m fine with that - mostly use carplay anyway (another thing I’d miss with a Tesla). I also really dislike aspects of the other EVs on the market with the exception of the taycan - but that’s out of my price range. The ipace seems to hit a sweet spot for me in terms of looks, comfort, size, performance, and build quality. It feels strange that one of the older EVs on the market has become my top choice but that’s how it’s shaking out!

    Is it one foot driving because the cameras in the car know when to stop you because of traffic?

    • @WiZe1972
      @WiZe1972  Před 2 lety

      No, whenever you release your foot on the throttle , the electric motors applies a regenerative brake that slow down the car and recharge the batteries. You can also choose to disable this feature if you prefer a more conventional way of driving
