I thought they were sisters and was telling myself "ok... why isn't their mom there?" the whole time.
They look like sisters in their 20s. I felt all kinds of discomfort after seeing the daughter's age. Man, nature did me dirty.
Funny how even as the women get older, they always look like babies next to their mama 💕

I tell my mom almost everything except the things that makes her sad I hate seeing her sad , she did a great job getting closer to me during my teenage years and becoming my bestfriend , a mother is a blessing from God

I personally think not discussing certain things that need to be discussed can unintentionally do more harm than good. It’s very toxic.

I'm very open with my daughter. Maybe I shouldn't be. I grew up in a household where I couldn't talk to anyone about anything and I don't want my daughter to feel like. I want her to come to me with anything but I guess I need to a bit less open.
Its very good to be open for your daughter to tell you anything, it will let her trust you more if you are okay with everything she says. Just dont force her to tell you everything. Just let her know that she can tell you anything, and you'll be right there to support her.
i wish me and my mom would be the one there so i could tell her everything about my depression
_sinful Park if you want to tell her try to do it . You do not need a CZcams show for that
Maybe write her a letter for her to read in her own time. It gives you time to think on how you want to express it and it will give her time to reflect on it. That way it's not so intimidating and it opens up the conversation. I've recently found it useful to write letters - even if i don't share them. Maybe give that a try
Maybe your mom is afraid to share her fears about your well-being. Please try to talk together. She could be depressed, too. One out of three women share lived experiences of anxiety and depression. Please don't isolate. If you can tell strangers in a post, maybe you can share your truth with a loved one. just 2 cents. Been there. Love yourself. There is only one you. (Everybody else is taken LOL).
Tell her everything about it. She cant get mad. If anything, she'll want to make you happy. It'll hurt her more to know that you are depressed and possibly harm yourself when its too late, than it will to tell her whats happening.

This thought me that meaningful relationships aren't perfect. We hurt those we love but that doesn't mean we don't care and won't go hell and back to protect them.
