Real talk, can the Chiefs just make CEH a WR? They have Pacheco and McKinnon for RB, and CEH was doing more work than any of their receivers today outside of Rice. Was actually surprised at how good he did

CEH was drafted to replace Hunt. Ive seen flashes of greatness from the guy. Now Pacheco's down he gets a chance to shine. I hope he does., and scores a big contract either in KC or elsewhere, he has the talent and the drive.
I thought the exact same thing when he made that catch in the end zone. He's show to have great hands. I'd run him on some simple short to intermediate routes.
The Chiefs have misused CEH & Coach Reid and Bienhemy are to blame. He ran routes out of the backfield at LSU. He was a dual threat, But the Chiefs never used him that way. And that falls on the HC & OC. And stop making fuggin' excuses for players dropping passes. Guaranteed.....EB would've chewed their A$$ES OUT‼️

Crazy that its the rookie Rice that is firmly WR1 for this core. Might say a thing or two about the rest of the Chiefs WR core. Toney is clearly the weakest link and a massive liability. If he can't catch dime passes like he got this game how can Mahomes or any QB for that matter, trust him enough to throw to him? Chiefs will be making some serious gambles keeping him in given how mistake prone he appears to be.

NE and TB12 was a match made in heaven. strong D + a QB that could drag any receiving core to the playoffs. this will haunt them for a long time until they find an offense identity that doesnt just rely on the goat QB ability.
The Chiefs receivers are doing the best they can to lose these games but Mahomes and the defense are going to drag them kicking and screaming into the playoffs.
And the refs will drag mahomes to the bowl and gift another ring for him

The Kansas City Chiefs needed this game to get back on track but they have to release Kadarius Toney. I’m really sad that the Chiefs really got this guy because he’s been a lot of their problems a lot this season primarily with the drop catches and they need to release him after the season.

It's a "Meh" win for the Chiefs but way better than a 3 game losing streak....and they pretty much won the AFC West AGAIN today.
From a KC fan: winning the division with an offense playing that bad for 14 games despite featuring Mahomes, is, in itself, a historical performance! Only Brady did better last year, winning his division while posting a LOSING sesaon. TB12 ain't called the GOAT for nothing.
It would be hilarious if KC lost 2 out of the last 3, and the donkeys snuck in and took the West just to shut Chiefs fans up finally.

The pats looked coherent this game we need to improve our defensive reaction time our defense needs to be more aware of the throw coming and have the decision making to decide to go for the ball or the player because 90% of those big plays either the defender wasn’t paying attention or he was indecisive

@@diallo1347 I get the desire people have to inflate EB's role, but whenever there was a close game - and people forget how many of those close games there have been over the last few years - there was one person the camera cut to on the sidelines, figuring out what to do next on offense. And EB wasn't even in the frame for most of those.
He's getting his shot in Washington. We'll see how that goes. Not that well so far, but middling given the less than ideal circumstances.

Unfortunately it was sloppy with a lot of luck against the second to the last rated team in the NFL. No way we convert even 1/3 of those third down and long plays we did today against a 500% team.
How would Brady do without protection? I think we know. So much emphasis is put on QBs, when it seems to me that most are pretty good if they're actually protected and have some time to scan the field.

Looking at all these comments I think everyone has converged MVS, Toney, and Moore into one person and named him "Toney." Toney has been pretty bad but hes the best of those three. And hes made plays and can probably play the "Hardman role" better than Hardman can. No knock on Hardman intended. Chiefs are just missing pass catchers. Im foreseeing a high need to keep CEH and McKinnon into the rotation to ensure some steadier consistent hands. Also nice to see Rice turning into the primary alternative to Kelce
