    Thanks, Camber! Finally started using my Canon EOS 2000D (it was a gift, and I'm really grateful for it!) to record about 15 minutes of footage - I heard an odd noise while recording and when I finally started editing, I noticed that video wasn't recording anymore...so annoying. Glad I know why, at least, thanks to this video. Pretty sure my camera is just old - I mean I've used up 3 or 4 GB on a 128GB card!

    • @CamberFilmSchool
      @CamberFilmSchool  Před 2 lety +2

I used an SDXC card U3 class, rated V30 with 128 GB of space and my EOS Rebel T6 hits that movie recording stopped automatically around 22 minutes the first time i caught it and on another time i discovered it stopped around 12 minutes. However, I'll try the formatting in camera trick to see if that gives me at least 30 minutes but I really wish there was a firmware hack or upgrade to at least enable loop recording so that even if it means splitting up the files, at least it continues recording. Nothing more upsetting than recording improv content and having something happen you'd only see once in a lifetime and find out you didnt catch it on camera like you had set it up to do -__-
