    If you are coming to Paris and looking for some fabulous food recommendations then I've got the book for you. I've written a food guide called Paris: A Food Guide to the World's Most Delicious City.
    You can get your copy now via Amazon a.co/d/7GrePXN or directly from my website www.andrewpriorfabulously.com/book-paris-a-food-guide-to-the-worlds-most-delicious-city
    It's not just a food guide but also includes three walking tours and some non-foodie tips as well. In the book, there are recommendations for restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, boulangeries, patisseries, fromageries and so much more.
    I hope you love it.

    As a kid I would have loved to see the Bayeux tapestry; it's been a dream of mine since childhood.

    I think im the only person who never enjoyed (or didnt know how to enjoy) Bayeux 😂 as much as i love historical places i was bummed when i visited it. The food was delicious. I had my dinner in a tiny shack medieval building restaurant facing the cathedral. I still remember my meal. When in Normandy never miss out the sea food. Normans are so good at sea food and oysters

    My wife and I visited Bayeux this past summer to celebrate her graduation from Medical Residency here in the US. It is such a beautiful town and we can't wait to visit again!

      It is a fabulous place. Next time you come, get in touch beforehand and I will give you some great recommendations on other places to go to and accommodations etc to if you want. Maybe you can come visit me in the new country place for a cooking class or two, which is my new adventure.

    I was lucky enough to spend a week Churchill Hotel while on a trip to learn about the invasion of Normandy. Le Volet qui Penche (which translates to The Crooked Shutter) is a great wine bar located just next to the tiny house. The owner (like all of the locals I spoke with) are all very friendly and will give great recommendations if you don't know where to go. Also just below the church is a large tree where in the summer they use projectors to tell several stories about the war and a few others. Great video! I can't wait visit again!

    Enjoyed your video, Andrew. Thank you for sharing! How many days do you recommend in Bayeux if we also want a guided tour of the Battle of Normandy?

    • @AndrewPrior
      @AndrewPrior  Před 5 lety

      Well it's an amazing region and if you can hire a car and explore that would be ideal. So I'd suggest a good day for Bayeux, another for a guided tour, and then another two to explore the rest of the region etc at the least. I can do an itinerary for you if you'd like, putting together ideas and recommendations. Just contact me via the website andrewprior.eu or email me at travellingfabulously@gmail.com

    That’s for the video. Where are children not allowed in the museum? Or are you talking about pets? Can’t see anything mentioned on the website. Thanks.

    • @AndrewPrior
      @AndrewPrior  Před rokem

      Oh no they are, it's just that when I went there was a whole class or two of children that were quite loud. So I was suggesting to go when they wouldn't be there to have a nicer experience.
