The most impressive part is the data rates. It looks like it took mere seconds to transfer the potential petabytes (1000 terabytes) of data that might be necessary to simulate unique consciousnesses.
If it were more realistic, it would probably take weeks to transfer some of this stuff. Image that happening every time they tried to upload/download things.
Then again, that sort of realism might be too horrific. Imagine trying to download that much data. You start it, then forget about it for a week, and then you go back to check on it, thinking that it should be nearly finished. But then SURPRISE! To you horror you see that it only completed 20%. I can see why they left that part out.
This doesn't even consider the time it takes to compile programs.
