THE ROOP represent Lithuania in Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with their song ON FIRE:
“This year’s song ON FIRE is about something I carried within and observed around myself. It’s about writing yourself off too quickly. This phenomenon is called ageism. We are underestimating ourselves and others too often by applying age limit rules. We think we are useless or uninteresting because our ‘expiration date’ already hit” - said band’s leader Vaidotas Valiukevičius.
While talking to one music producer, Vaidotas learned that rather often people in their early twenties come to producers but declare feeling too old to achieve something. The youth cult in Lithuania is widely spread out in the consciousness of individuals.
“With this song we wish to send people confidence and good vibes. We are all capable of being who we want, when we want, and our age does not matter!” - declares THE ROOP band.
“We are being observed by those around us as if through a magnifying glass, we search for ourselves in reflections of other people, in the public opinion, in gazes of strangers, and most frequently the image is incomplete, crooked. But when you believe in yourself with a spark, reflections become nothing but a game.” - director Indrė describes the idea of the video.
The name of the song ON FIRE encodes the state of excitement, feeling passionate, engaged and explosive inner energy.

This music is such an unique masterpiece and had strong message with their own creative dances and all.
discoteque is good and a nice catchy song but its just that its not that renemberable as this one tbh; and the videoclip its good and it felt like a better version of russia uno it bug has the same style anthics a little with repeated same catchphrases until the song ends and the impressive unique dance . Plus it has that repeated same sound throught out the song im not fan of the russia song(its super annoying) but the dance they do on there and the theme of the song in the videoclip they really tried a bit to do like them and immitate their style because of their overated success that drags the song because the message is less relevant.
@@thepunisherlion1236 Dude, discoteque has a really good message. It's about it being ok to have fun on your own and loving yourself (somewhat like on fire is about). It's also very apropriate during corona to encourage people to not party in the club and do it instead at home with only yourself and your reflection. It has nothing to do with russias song and they are not copying them, they have their own quirkyness (and the dance is very very different) as you would see if you looked at their other videos. PS: your sentences are very messy and almost unreadable.
I can see a lot of people doing their own dance versions of this song, it's so infectious. And it has a good message, do what you want no matter how old you are.
