Good video. MASSILLON had an opportunity to pull it off. And this coming season if we go back I think we may do it since we know how Hoban plays. They shouldn't deviate from a successful recipe
What you think Trussel? Can Massillon actually get a state championship this year? If this is not the year then I don’t know when it will ever be. This is the most complete Tiger team I’ve seen in my 44 years.

These people at Massillon are Liars 🤥 they have never and I mean never won a State Championship game on the Field of play, they were voted champions by a committee before they had championship games, shame shame on you Massillon fans.

A Division III school, playing in a Division II Championship for the second year in a row, because they dominated Division III, with a Sophomore QB. Hoban currently has a dynasty and are ranked 13th in the country according to Maxpreps.

They were moved up because of where their student base lives in proximity to the school(competitive balance). Success has nothing to do with it.
They should be ranked higher and should be playing the top teams from Texas and Cali

Bad luck for Massillon having their star running back hobbled with a broken ankle the week before. They almost pulled it off anyway. Attended the game. Hoban was a solid team and was just able to establish the run a bit better than Massillon which really was the difference in the game. The bad ref call when Massillon intercepted changed the momentum as Massillon could have won even without Jamir Thomas. With Thomas, I think the Tigers would have had their 25th as they could have kept the ball away from Hoban enough to win. What a great game it was to watch and what fans!
Could not agree more! Very sad to see Massillon lose the way they did..... but theyll be back next season.

@@jgpinc I did have my facts wrong....24 x state paper champs not 22.....60 miles ?!?!? You guys go to other states and bring players in...I was correct though that you guys would lose on your home turf with inbreds surrounding the stadium drinking busch. Now go enjoy Massillons idea of a gourmet restaurant (Smiley's) and pray to the football gods that you never have to face an intellectually ,physically, and financially superior team like Hoban ever again. John George's double trouble subs are the bomb though I will say that.

Yeah, there were quite a few bad calls/no calls that benefitted Hoban. (17:43) Clearly shows pass interference in the endzone, to name another. However, our Tigers are fantastic!!!! GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes! Very sad to see such an awful call change the game. Cant go down 34-7 at half, but what a great comeback
I listened to this game on the radio... don't live too far from Hall of Fame Stadium now Tom Benson Stadium.. thought about going to thought it was probably sold out and I bet you it was... the 1480 Radio broadcasters were not happy with the calls as well.. but that was one hell of a good Tigers team and they were even sang towards the end of the game that either of these teams could have beat the division 1 state championship teams... still a really great moment for Stark County football and thanks for the upload

I remember 2016 D3 championship the refs cheated Trotwood 😡 we was better than hoban. Then hoban moved to D2 then we both won the championship ☻ Hoban is imo the best in Ohio after trotwood and St. ED
Agreed-- I went to McKinley. Im sick of these private schools recruiting all over and taking talent from the public schools. Hoban and Eds are no doubt good teams, but its easy to gather talent when you can recruit. Happy to see your Rams doing well.
