    Hey JT12's R/C I was just wondering what your thoughts on the HSP brand are? I just got one of there on road nitro cars about a week ago and I usually drive traxxas short course nitro trucks so I'm not to sure what the quality is on HSP products if you could let me know what your opinion is that would be amazing thank you in advance.

      If you kept your manual the part number for the engine mount should be in it

    • @StoriesForTheSoulHere
      @StoriesForTheSoulHere Před 6 lety

      i found the manual online but it doesn't mention the screws it needs to mount it to the chassis.The ebay engine mount has the screws to mount the engine on but not the ones needed for the chassis.If you know the numbers for example M3x10 or M3x12 it would be helpful.
      Thank you

    I have the same engine and sort of truck. I didn't understand why it wasn't starting but then you said the low speed needle I'll try that when I get it out again. I just installed a new engine on it as well, but the fuel won't go through the lines into the carb.

  • @alextrim1342
    @alextrim1342 Před 7 lety

    Should I touch the low speed needle as the idle gap is really low and it has a high rpm and the wheels are spinning at idleing and thus is during the breaking it's fine but wasn't sure to touch it to make it safer

    • @TheRCBiker
      @TheRCBiker  Před 7 lety +1

      Try the pinch test in regards to the LSN before you adjust it.

      JT12's R/C Videos I've richened it and it's pretty fine now takes about 5 secs to die but wheels do move faster when engine warms up a bit but not seriously wasn't sure if it gets better over time as it's still new engine but thanks for your help love the videos new to this hobbies loving it already 😊

    Why does it go so slow but rev so high, would think a nice rc car like that would go faster

    • @thetruewindwaker1874
      @thetruewindwaker1874 Před 4 lety

      All Goped first of all, nitro engines literally rev over 10,000 rpm. Also he was breaking it in which he was going slow on purpose. That thing will go over 30 MPH easily. U have to tune the carburetor to make it faster and get the full performance out of it. Hopefully that explains.

    Is there a reason everyone completely ignores the break in process recommended by the company that makes the engine? even though they have probably spent a small fortune on R&D and testing to make sure it works?

    • @TheRCBiker
      @TheRCBiker  Před 6 lety +1

      High quality race tuned engines then maybe. But Chinese made VX engines I highly doubt they have spent any money nevermind a small fortune on research so therefore I always follow and promote a method that's worked well for me :) have you seen the instructions that come with engines like this? They are barely readable in english.

    • @Cindarr1
      @Cindarr1 Před 6 lety

      I was asking because i've just ordered an LRP zr30 and don't want to bugger it.
      Also, when it refers to number of tanks worth of fuel, is it referring to a standard fuel tank size? think mine is a 250ml one.

    • @TheRCBiker
      @TheRCBiker  Před 6 lety

      250cc is quite a large tank so that's almost double what I'd consider to be a "standard" tank. However still do a full tank's worth, won't harm to go OTT with each stage
