What I truly wish adidas would do, is realize runners kind of moved away from it. But instead embrace the casual every day wearer that not only accepted it but drove it to the heights that it got. So even if they keep trying to make a version runners want. I do wish they would realize ok we got multiple foams that are the future of running. So let’s take boost and give the casual wearer what they want. Let’s do a huge stack height of OG boost not worry about weight because it’s not for runners. But instead give them more squishy sensation with a stupid comfortable upper with some support. Just to keep you from rolling your foot lol. But just let boost be the best that boost can be without changing it for runners who didn’t seem to want ti embrace it anymore. So that’s my opinion. God bless great interview.

Only Love for Adidas team and Everything they've been doing... Ultraboost is and i'm sure will continue to offer the Best combo of technology and comfort wrapped in a very durable shoe, suitable for most of the people... Thank you...❤

I feel Ultraboost could be a comfortable recovery shoe, but they'd still be pretty pricey. Maybe if they dropped the price or dropped the weight, it might be more popular.

With all respect isn’t utltraboost old and heavy (despite the lighter version) compared to the new running foams.. ?

With the Adizero and Supernova lines, even after this interview, I'm still not clear if there is a space for the Boost line for runners. With so much resources, Adidas has placed into the supernovas this year, I'm not super sure if they are convinced themselves about the Boost's identity/purpose.
To add: Even more confused when you see the Adistar BYD recently joining the Adistar lineup

Ultraboost has had a bit of a comedown from its heights of 7+ years ago. but the basic tech is still solid and I hope that the 5 pushes thing back into the elite pack of a cushioned daily trainer that can handle tempo and slower paces with ease.

Daily trainers, tempo, recovery day, race day and...lunchtime loops? I guess we just created a new category, but I don't know that calling it a lunchtime looper is a good way to sell it.

No disrespect at all but this dude gives the same energy as the PILES of Ultraboost shoes at my local outlet that aren't selling for WAY less than $180.
    Dead line for runners.

I hope Adidas reads the comment section this video. It's high time for the Ultraboost lineup to shut down. Ultraboosts are ugly, heavy and way too overpriced. Adizero is where the future lies. Also no disrespect, but this guy seems delusional. Great podcast nonetheless.

It’s widely accepted in the community that Ultraboosts and bad running shoes by current standards. And marketing the as running shoes at a price point similar to something like Takumi Sen is unbelievable. How would you explain this? Which catagory should they fall in? Running? No, they are too heavy and dull. Lifestyle? Subjective, but they are way too ugly.
