Same, a lot of the characters in the game are too nice and all fluff to the traveler. I get that the traveler's a nice person (and yeah mihoyo does it on purpose so the player can feel "appreciated" by the character talking to them, thus making them more likely to pull) but sheesh, nearly everyone they meet simps for them on the spot and it's getting repetetive. Glad to see Tighnari break the cycle and isn't afraid to be sassy to anyone, even the traveler.

Totally get what you mean!! I love how he isn’t either the epitome of perfection like half the cast, or serious with no emotion like the other half (obviously with some exceptions). He has a full range of human emotions that I feel like a lot of Genshin characters just lack.

The thing about Tighnari being the best kind of friend you could have is that he often speaks bluntly about your great traits and shortcomings, and very unapologetic when delivering deserved criticism. But he does have a fatal flaw, which is he will not being able to make many friends with that overly strict and bad tempered attitude and causing him to gain more enemies instead. Good thing he realized that.
When Tighnari was explaining about plants or whatever it reminded me of my science class last year when we talked about plants which btw I almost hit my head on my desk 😀
