I pulled 7000 lbs with my 01 v10 bout 3 months ago I drove 4 hrs sucked gas & hills were s#%+ but n.p i love my v10

I'm going to need a good truck to pull a bobcat in the future, how bad is that v10 on gas?

How much can that v10 dodge even tow maxed out
Have had 12k behind it before handled it well
Supposedly can haul up 19k... but some people have hauled 25k so it's a monster of a motor.

Towing 5,000 lb and that ain't nothing for a truck like that I had one with a 360 Magnum V8 and tow 9,000 pounds with it it struggled but it did it
How's the transmission, found one with 117k but Dodge really isn't known for a solid automatic.
Had the truck for 6 months trans has never missed a beat
The half ton transmissions are the largest issue. When you get the 47rh trans there not that bad. 47re is an issue but the pre 96 47rh is good

Towing this light load like 8.5 normal driving highway 10-11
My 5.9 magnum got 11 on the highway so it's not bad... pretty good if you ask me for a v10
