I tried to play this game with my hotas set up (TM Warthog Throttle and X52 stick) but I couldn't find where the mapping is so I could map my controls. Am I missing something?

This was with my old X52 pro. I don’t remember the process as it was a while ago but I do remember it being a pain. Gimbals were a must as it isn’t anywhere near as smooth as something like Elite, but it was a cool experience

how did you get it to recognize the head tracking? Very cool vid!

It’s been a while but I’m sure it worked pretty much right out of the box for me, although I do remember having to tab in and out and stop/start the tracking a couple of times. Once it worked once it was fine every other time

Is this game worth getting just for combat? It looks fun here but everywhere else all I seem to hear about is trading and managing stuff

Combat is fun and there are definitely combat-heavy paths to take, but if you’re not doing the trading and building you’re missing out on a big chunk of content. I think the new DLC is focused on pirating and salvaging ships so could be worth looking into

Its incredible fun, to jump into a war with plus 30 fighters to test out your own limits especialy cause these limits are extremely flexible and there is a very high skillcap to what is posssible when you learn about how to fight while strafing. A good pilot is able to take out multiple m class ships with a scout and a shotgun by dodging arround 90 percent of the incomming fire.
However the ammount of possibilities this game offer are through the roof if you just compare it with the dogfighting aspect, wich is why you need to make sure that your system can handle it.
Im in an endgame scenario with multiple shipyards, and terraforming planets, xenon gate controllststions with integrated recyclerstations wich have access to energycellfabrications from vigor systems and earth systems , connected by 5 trading stations accross the galaxy and that my friend, caused me to dropp the game for a while, since my cpu was so low, that i played the game on a frame per second with loading times of plus 28 minutes.
Today my pc comes back with the very latest processor and graphics card , a budget of 2,5 k euro, just to be able to get back to my savefile lol
If your just looking for dogfight games i would reccommend titles like warthunder, ace combat and planetside 2
