Thank you soooo much for this reaction! It's one of my favourite songs by them, and this performance is amazing, I love how heavy and emotional it sounds, even if instrumentally it's not really heavy song. Second vocal you've heard was Ruki's vocal, vocalist's, from playback (I'm not sure if it's correct word for this, english is not my native language). About transitions between songs on live performances, sometimes they blend songs, sometimes not. You can find on CZcams few full concerts by them, for example their 20th anniversary concert from last year. :)

I would call it backing vocals, even though it was recorded. I also recommend watching the full shows, they are mind-blowing.

Thanks for checking out the Gazette! I think they are a rare band that sounds even better live compared to recordings (these are also bangers ofc)
There's a lot of shows recorded, they drop them quite often and they are all worth checking out (some are on CZcams, like Dogmatic, the Ninth, 20th Anniversary live, Spooky Boxes (the Halloween specials), my personal favourite 15th anniversary (『大日本異端芸者「暴動区 愚鈍の桜」) where they played lots of old classic hits)
Regarding second vocals: this is a back track and the vocalist Ruki just harmonises with himself mostly. Sometimes they use female vocals as well to add more flavour, their bassist Reita also joins the screaming parts sometimes
I hope you'll cove more of their songs and I would personally recommend Goddess live, you can find it with eng subs as well on Kaya's channel
This is first of all a great song (one of my personal favourites) and an awesome performance to watch as well
