- We are back with another video giving you a look into our lives living full time on a 59ft Narrowboat. When we first bought the boat there were so many upgrades we wanted to make but these things take time and money, high on the list was getting new canopy covers and the time is finally here!

The canopy cover looks wonderful. Mark was so funny, I loved his sense of humor, I can’t wait to see the front finished.

If you keep that area clear you could put a little table out there to give you a covered, outside area to sit for winter.
That’s a great idea! We will need to convince Lauren to get rid of quite a lot of stuff to make that possible!

What a difference this makes - you will appreciate it now the weather is changing and it is getting colder. We notice the difference in keeping the boat warm when we have it up vs when it is not. We use that space on ours as a wet room for when we come onto the boat as well as for storage although we do like it when it becomes a seating area.

Nice canope 🤣Love the colour too. When you take the panels out don't fold them, roll them up! It is much better for them, especially if there are clear panels in them.

That pram cover looks first class. A very nice looking addition to your boat. How much was it please.
It looks like the old dodgers would make a good log carrying bag, or a bag to store the new panels in.
What is a dodger ?
The cover from railing to deck level that you had wrapped round the back of the boat.
On sailing boats it was about keeping waves out the cockpit when heeling over, so enabling people to dodge the waves.

Hi Mark, it depends on so many things like if you are keeping your old frames, if it’s front and back, what material you choose etc so it’s best to give them a call or email - they are so helpful! 🙂
