I lived in Uganda for five years and he certainly isn't the only man with many wives. My driver said he had 52 brothers and sisters. He said he felt sad and neglected growing up because his dad didn't even know him. Those kids suffer from malnutrition and they don't even go to school. Their clothes are dirty and torn. When this guy dies they will suffer even more. Sad.

It’s so funny when I hear some people talk about having multiple wives but they usually miss the most important part, Family. These men take care of their wives and children.? My grandfather had 5 wives. We lived in a huge house and I had soo many uncles and aunties, it was great. We also have lots of farms all over Ghana. Our community Grandpa Live in Kumasi, Ghana with many wives had 107 children. He passed at the age of 94, his youngest child at the time was just 4 months old. Also, had many grandchildren who started having affairs because they did not know they are from the same family

How is going to cultivate his farm to grow enoegh food to sell and to feed his family.. His large family is his laborers. My father had 34 children from 12 wives, i know what im talking about.
@@ali1122 probably by farming most of the land he had to divide to each of his wives and selling the proceeds for profit, also most of the profit he makes from his business he has to divide among his wives and children they all have to eat but if it was 1 wife then he would be able to save money money.
@@ali1122 He first sold a cow for 6000 shillings and buy millets which made him 270000 shillings then he bought cows to marry more wifes with every profit he made from his earnigs on that note imagine if he were to all keep those cattles and money while having one wife and 10 children instead of 676 mouths to feed

I'm surprised he doesn't know the names of all of his wives and children. 98 names to remember isn't too many (although it's a lot of children to have)... It is basically 3 classes at school, (teachers will know all these names). Maybe it's more difficult as his wives speak different languages.

I had to open my eyes very very wide.
I went to School with some boys whose father married 40 wives. At the time, he had 15 boys at our high school. I don't know how many children he had in all.
The economic and medical rational that inspired polygamy are gone. Infant mortality is minimal today and land is no longer plentiful. Now, these men, stock in the past, are just abusing community resources and fostering perpetual poverty for everyone.
Proper cultural education is required, if Africa is to survive, and thrive. The rich man who lives in thatched hurts shows how small & backwards his mind is. He may be creative and hardworking in the effort to better his situation but his scope is limited in terms of the problems he's created for his people.
New era demands new paradigm. Those who do not appreciate and live by this truth are condemned to extinction. What kind of life and future does a family of 10 expect from an acre of land? It's deplorably foolish to count yourself wise while swimming in the mud. Disgusting Indeed!
