Strange, literally only blood drain worked for me in getting the first 10 coins. Also getting them in this order is definitely a preferred way. Good video! Edit: I don't know what I expected killing death, but the game really took a turn after that :(
Kinda weird that even with jotunn slayer I couldn’t kill the jotunn, so I wonder if getting the coins has to be done in this order ? Either way thank you for making this video!
On discord I saw that the game has certain bugs that prevent you from continuing certain quests, such as the game not giving you coins and not telling you that you have all the magic. Unfortunately, the only way I've seen to fix this is to make a new save and hope it doesn't bug again.
It's been a few days, but I thought I'd mention that I also couldn't kill the Jotunn at first. Walking in and out of the area, restarting the game (and also verifying game cache) eventually made him killable. Just had to reload the area a few times.

at least the turn is reversible by upgrading the scythe after killing enough spirits
