Strange, literally only blood drain worked for me in getting the first 10 coins. Also getting them in this order is definitely a preferred way. Good video! Edit: I don't know what I expected killing death, but the game really took a turn after that :(
at least the turn is reversible by upgrading the scythe after killing enough spirits

Kinda weird that even with jotunn slayer I couldn’t kill the jotunn, so I wonder if getting the coins has to be done in this order ? Either way thank you for making this video!
On discord I saw that the game has certain bugs that prevent you from continuing certain quests, such as the game not giving you coins and not telling you that you have all the magic. Unfortunately, the only way I've seen to fix this is to make a new save and hope it doesn't bug again.

It's been a few days, but I thought I'd mention that I also couldn't kill the Jotunn at first. Walking in and out of the area, restarting the game (and also verifying game cache) eventually made him killable. Just had to reload the area a few times.
I can confirm that the skeleton axe does not only drop from a skeleton with an axe. There is also a faster way to farm the axe, like in this video: czcams.com/video/xj_FGVoKnmA/video.html&ab_channel=Nic

thanks man, but i never got the achivement for whatever reason even when everything is enhanced :/
The same happened to me with magic. I had to leave and enter the game until it counted
it bugs out with the shining/shadow blade, you might have to upgrade twice
