Charlie and Merle I love you. I am mesmerized watching you skate. It seems impossible for two to skate as one. They are very special; I never get tired watching them.
They were amazing. Loved their skating. Always wore fabulous costumes. Just incredible team. I hope their lives are fulfilling and happy now that they are not competing.
I absolutely LOVE DAVIS/WHITE. I miss them so much, they exude excellence, beauty and perfection! White looks amazing on the ice just a mans man and Meryl is so classy, elegant, sassy yet sexy and demure!!!
@HelTra91 I do think Tessa and Scott's SD is great, but I actually preferred it before the changes were made at Nationals. And I think Meryl sells this program (so, yes, trying VERY hard, rather than living it like Tessa can). I don't think Charlie is as good in this SD as Scott is in his SD, Scott is great at giving it a bit of "attitude" on ice. And, yes, Meryl and Charlie's FD is so good this season!
@muscleboi4use I still prefer tessa and scott's SD (I don't think this is meryl's style) but as far as the FD.... I think meryl and charlie have found their mahler, it is just beautiful! and definitely enough for them to take another worlds :)
They are very good but still ackward in parts. Technical may be good but not dance wise. Watch the worlds version and you’ll see the difference and realize they weren’t flawless here. And if you really want to see what I mean, watch their dancing in the later years. And if you really really want to see good dancing, watch Meryl in Dancing with the Stars. I never thought she shined as a dancer until then. Not only did she shine there, she was probably one of the best dancers to win it.
@Lara Hartley: How do you get the Bollywood program out of this? And who cares about Meryl's face? At 2:28 Charlie looks like Popeye. So what? Enjoy their skating.
so why does she make those silly silly faces while she is standing still. she doesn't have to be serious, but i would laugh if i saw that in person. and she has been doing it for a long time! is the same music and basically the same program as bollywood? i am confused.
If you know the music and her cue for the beginning as the flirty reaction. She likely repeated it because the music didn't start right away. The music and the dance style had nothing to do with Bollywood.

Much as I love Virtue and Moir (and I really like them) Davis and White are so "ON" this season really superb.
It's hard to rise above perfection and that's what we see whenever they skate.

Charlie is amazing, yes he dances well, and he holds her in amazing, tough positions, wish I was that strong, she totally depends on him.

Charlie ROCKS this program. I don't know of any other skater who can do it that intricately and fast without falling on his face.
