Great looking bike, congratulations on upgrades and a fantastic video, thank you for sharing 😊 Your suspension comments on the front remind me of how much my ST dives under heavy braking , I will eventually change the whole front end out. I am a fan of the Bronze and Gold theme and might look for Gold tubes 🤩 Waiting to get my new Thrashin 6.5 risers and high bend bars installed. Then Galfer Rotors all round. Thanks John. Definitely a front end big dive under heavy braking. I also think it doesn’t handle bumps/holes in the road nearly as well as most of the other bikes I’ve had. Very excited to see how that improves with upgrades and will make a video to report. Good luck with your bike.
I'm running the 30 / 30 as well, did you look at the WM8-22XE from Woods? that is a great cam too!!, one thing that I would recommend is the Trask checkm8 top cover, I did install one, as the M8s build up a lot of presuure in the crank case and it needs to be vented, due to EPA requirements, it's all going back into your throttle body, something to think about, ride safe man!!
Been debating between the 30-30 and the S&S 475.... I have a 22 ST and a 24 SG~ May try the 30-30 on the ST followed by the S&S 475 on my touring bike.....
Would you need to reroute any cabels/wires with those risers? It looks like you can lay the stock bars down and just put them back on the Thrashing 6.5 riser. I assume no with your new bars?
If you just add the 6.5 riser and keep the stock handlebars, no wire extensions or new cables needed. I’ve added a 1” extension to the risers and high bend bars. Had to do new clutch cable, new upper brake line, and extend wires a bit.
How about if just with the 6.5” riser and high bend bars from Thrashin Supply as well, could you use the stock cables/wires, or will still need extensions?
Would you mind listing all the cables and wires you had to use to replace the old ones with? I’m currently looking to get the 6.5 risers as well and the high bend bars. I don’t think I will need the one inch spacer.
Did you do anything besides the cam? I did a feuling cam chest kit with the star 30/30 cam. Wondering if I need injectors or throttle body? Bike is running like shit lol
Hey I am looking for a new windshield for my ST noticed you don’t have the cut on your windshield did that help or just the windshield in general is better?
I had a couple of aftermarket shields that still had the vent hole open and I very much prefer this one with it closed. I feel like the noise and buffeting are much better. It may be all in my head but I like it.
When I swapped the bars I went with an all new cable since I had to change length. I just went with a Drag cable of the correct length with the older style adjuster. Just not comfortable with the new plastic adjuster, had a really bad experience only a few hundred miles in.
I think deleting the vent makes it a bit better and easier to hear the music. The fairing is vented anyway. But I will acknowledge it may just be a placebo effect or all in my head. I like the look of the vented shield better though.

I seen a low rider st in person last week and it looked way smaller then my dyna. 30/30 can is the best cam on the market for an m8
Seemed smaller than a dyna to me at first glance as well. I haven't ridden a dyna in a while so I couldn't say exactly.

Heard a lot good things about the 3030 cam. How much hp and torque did you gain after. ?

I believe they are just the standard Harley rubber covered ones.
What foot pegs are those?
Harley mini floorboards. Have to use an adapter from DK customs to fit M8 Softail.
