he was a very interesting man, look forward to seeing this
Christopher Lee though, what a man.
One of my favourites in Horror cinema, can't wait to watch!!
Hammer Horror... one hell of a film institution... and still the best!
Christopher Lee truly was... THe MOst INteresting Man in the World.
Much Much more than just a horror movie actor
The irony of opening with John Landis of all people saying "That's what's so interesting about monsters..."
I've signed up for the Coffin Box Set. I've heard wonderful things about this film. Can't wait to see it and get the goodies!
They don’t make many people like him, should be a good watch
Who's playing the music at the beginning of this video please?
1:50 someone knows the piece of music? It is very beautiful!
The track is called Party On Dude (Endless) by Bedd from their 1 7/8 EP.
@@canalcatfilms4987 Thanks a lot!
@@canalcatfilms4987 What about the Western-ish sounding music at the 25 second mark?
@@kabukiarmadillo That’s from the film’s score by the excellent Jamie Hyatt.
*points* Peter Serafinowicz
"Most monsters are victims" says John Landis. And some monsters are victims of their overweening pride, arrogance, and ego. Like a certain movie director who is responsible for the deaths of a man and two children and yet has never paid a price for it.
Owned!
Couldn’t agree more! Well said!
Totally agree with that assessment.
It's sad whenever l see Vic Morrow - l will always enjoy and be amazed by his work, but there is always this sadness that follows because l think of the horrible accident that took his life, as well as the two children that were literally in his arms. I doubt a day goes by where Landis doesn't think about it, but at the very least, he should have been banned from ever working in the entertainment industry again. Yet somehow, it seems he was slowly welcomed back into the fold. Maybe someone will do a hard-hitting documentary on that tragedy to remind a whole new generation about the importance of the safety of film workers. And they could start it off by noting Alec Baldwin.
You haven’t mentioned he was in the SAS, SOE and other special forces….
You haven't watched the whole film.
@@canalcatfilms4987 I look forward to seeing it 😁👍
They alluded to it-and it is just a preview.
His skill as an actor was never more apparent than in the Star wars prequels where everyone is on a fake green set trying their best to act to nothing but looking a bit lost ....While he acted like he was on stage for a high brow Shakespeare production
Why are you laughing, John Landis? Go away.
John Landis talking about monsters....I see what you did there BFI.
