Thank you for being transparent on prices you saw. I was just in Japan last week and was also disappointed to see the higher price mark ups on used vintage that even the current favorable conversion from ¥ to $ wouldn't have made worth it.

😻 Breathtaking selection! Such a bummer prices are up right now on the best-conditions bags. Hear Tokyo high-end vintage is more expensive than other areas but still… At least now you have firsthand experience trying on some of the items. Whenever the market dips again, you’re ready!
The Japanese (and Korean) C-stores are so impressive. I like seeing the food hauls as much as the scenery & bags!

I recently started getting serious about luxury ( I used to buy midlevel luxury) and realized that the second hand market in the US is overpriced and oversaturated with low-quality goods. I am still doing my reseach but I hope to one day visit japan and be able to buy from Japan directly.

Aww.. Buyee emailed me and said they had to cancel my order for my very first Chanel. Said they “couldn’t buy it” from the seller. Not sure what happened but it was really inexpensive so may be questionable, eh? Well, better to be safe than sorry.

I’m going in March. I’m hoping to find a Chanel quilted cambon tote in white with the black CCs. Also pricing, I’ve been seeing they are too spendy. I want a Birkin, but what people are showing you end up paying 2x.
Agree, there is a misconception that they are cheap and I didn’t find that to be the case. I’ve found much cheaper in Europe pre-loved

Those stores you went have the higher prices. Singapore has better prices but may not have the rarer vintage pieces.
