Ingenuity of developing countries is amazing. I have lived in 18 countries, many of them developing. It’s interesting what we THINK we need to live and be happy. Live in some of these countries for a while. You will be enlightened.

I do live here, have for 7 years. They are becoming Western rather quickly. However, the Khmer people that don't have a lot of means are incredibly resilient and resourceful.

When you yourself are poor living in a poor country, you make do with what you have. I admire their ingenuity to get around, ship goods and people, and hopefully make a little money. 😊😊😊

    Teacher: "why are you late?"

If this happens from the part of the world I come from 🇳🇬 , I can bet it with you that just a Kilometer journey will take you 2 good days on the rail ( because you will keep on disassembling those bamboos every 20 Metres ) only the genius will understand.

As far as I know, the original railway track is now used for trains. They built a smaller track for tourists (bamboo train) nearby.

Look fun to ride on when not in a rush. How is the braking system? I can only guess the operator press on something with a foot.
