December 2018. For almost “everyone” doing this, it is a net money looser. It REALLY HELPS CHANNELS survive the doldrums and grind of producing content when folks REMEMBER TO USE THE AMAZON PAGE of their favorite channel. Many people think you can make a living as an RV CZcamsr. You can, if you are Keep Your Daydream with SUPERB production, have great looking family members and 400,000 subscribers.
Every video takes at least 1.5 hours of work for every MINUTE you see on screen. For instance, if this weeks video was 25 minutes, then it took me 37 HOURS of work. We have 195 videos, have been doing this for 2.9 years, and make about $4/hour over the long haul. In actuality, you can deduct very little of your expenses, except computers, camera equipment and music licensing subscriptions.
We do this because we are retired,…we want to document our travel,…..my wife was an Art Teacher,…...it is our hobby,…..and our passion,.......AND WE BOTH WORK ON MAKING THEM. We have $8000 to $10000 worth of computers, cameras, microphones, hard drives, etc. We spend $125/month for internet data charges for unloading.
My advice: Only start a channel if it is fun for you.

We went to the factory in June 2021, but it was closed to tours due to Covid. We would have LOVED to see the magic that happens inside that factory! I would suggest the CZcams channel called Andrew Steele. He gets the royal treatment at these places,.....

One of our Highlights at our September 2023 RV Trip. This is an iconic mountain and we have spent 2 days at the KOA Devils Tower and had all day long this phenomenal view :-)
The Devils Tower KOA Camping experience & location is a bucket list item!

Devils Tower is on our bucket list. My wife was there as a child, probably before the boulder crashed down smushing the egg salad sandwich and before the trees grew up around it.

Great pro tips! The photography is better in the morning, too. The Chan-Man always takes the smooth road, avoiding danger! We'd be with you Sue, and take the other trail! Another reason to visit Wyoming. 7 months to go to full time!

We stayed at the KOA in late September 2000, the campground was just getting ready to close for the season and there were only a few of us left, Deer freely wandered among the empty campsites. And even that late it wasn't too late for climbers, we watched them as we hiked around the tower. We then went to Mt. Rushmore KOA, also near closing and at half price. About 6-10 of us took the KOA bus to the evening show at Mount Rushmore, that is a must, but go late in the year and avoid the crowds, woke up one morning with an inch of snow on the ground! Glad you had fun.
We would have freaked out if we would be snowed on. That happened to us in Atlanta late in the season,.......we DID NOT like that!
That hike is a great break from driving I90. That valley view is awesome. Looking forward to your MT Rushmore video.

Each year about 5,000 people climb at Devils Tower National Monument. Since that inaugural climb back in 1893, only five climbing deaths have occurred at Devils Tower.
That is an impressive safety record for the climbers. Bravo!

What fun, we were there just two weeks before you! Saw the rock climbers, hawks, and loved the tower 😊 Quite an awesome sight. Everything you said was true. Luckily we got there early enough in our class B RV to be able to use the RV-only parking area. By the time we left, it was a zoo & people had filled the RV-only area with their cars 😡 The line to get in was miles long 😳

Hey,........thanks for watching! Tell Fred I still use the TSD Logistics Cost Savings Spreadsheet as well! We have averaged 41 cents off the diesel pump price so far after 19 fuel stops. On on stop, the savings was 83 cents per gallon.

We were there summer of 2020 hoping to go back on our next trip out there. Our son lives in Cheyenne so we go out at least once a year from Pennsylvania. Great video. Also when Mark was crawling was exactly how I felt when we did the longer trail it was no fun 😞

went there in 2017 also. Loved it but had no idea about the KOA. Love the idea of playing the movie. Want to do it again and stay there. The wife couldn't do the walk because she had a walking cans on but I really want to have her see all this beauty.
The drive to the KOA is a little hilly,..........but manageable.

Two, Wether you like it or not, you are CZcams stars, hehehe, and we love you. So my question is: do you plan on attending any big RV events like Tampa RV Show 2022, so some of us can meet with you in person?
We are actually booked already for the 2022 Tampa RV Show. We are hoping to have a few meet ups at some of the product booths for organizations we think are awesome. We expect to be at the RV Trip Wizard booth because it is the trip planning software we prefer. Sue & I are also hoping to be at the National Indoor RV Center booth because they are helping us stay on the road by having our back when problems arise. We haven't went live because we can hardly do what we already are doing!
