Great interview! Dr. Block makes some excellent points: it's not black & white, things must be carefully examined toward a net zero outcome for cement/concrete. There is no single 'silver bullet' but all approaches to carbon reduction must be thoughtfully evaluated. Well done Belinda!

I love this guy. Thanks for doing an interview with him. One piece of constructive criticism. Please try not to interrupt the guest while they are talking. If you look at Joe Rogan, lex fridman etc., you see that they let their guests finish before speaking. This is not like having a one on one conversation with someone. You don't need to make it known to the guest that you understand what they are saying, because frankly the guest is not on your podcast with the explicit goal of educating you on their work, rather it is about educating the listeners of your podcast about their work, therefore I would appreciate being able to listen to the guest complete their thought without interruption. It might be helpful to write down your thoughts so you don't forget them once they finish speaking.
