I'd like to offer some advice and insider tips for visiting Malioboro. It's a popular tourist destination, so be prepared for some things to be a bit pricier.
Food in Malioboro can get expensive. For example, something like satay usus (intestine skewers), which typically costs around 2,500 rupiah elsewhere, might be priced closer to 10,000 rupiah. This is likely due to high rent costs for vendors in the area. Also, if you don't speak Indonesian at all, some vendors might try to take advantage.
Yogyakarta is very car and motorcycle-focused. If you'd like to explore, I recommend renting a bike for more freedom. Beyond Malioboro, consider checking out areas like Kotagede or Prawirotaman,kotabaru etc - there are lots of hidden gems scattered throughout the place,so not only just in one city, or you can go everywhere with gojek or grab.
Kecap (ketchup) in Indonesia means sweet soy sauce. For ketchup we call it tomato sauce.

the egg was slow cooked in sweet soy sauce so that it gets dark, what they called gembus is the leftover from soy beans that being made to tempe and tofu, it's good and nutritious, and the snake is chicken intestine again cooked in sweet soy sauce, the brutu one is chicken back side, the pidgeon is burung dara/merpati

saus tomat is ketchup.

Hi, Bro'.. the brown egg is made with boiling in guava leaf and put spice, salt, onion etc. and palm sugar, sometimes they put kecap (sweet black sauce from soybean) not ketchup (tomate sauce)
Yogya is known by GUDEG culinary with the egg which is put in a set menu of nasi 'gudeg'. Delicious😋👍

BROWN EGG = A "PINDANG" CHICKEN EGG. IT WAS BOILING HOURS (COULD BE 12 HRS). SO IT WAS RATHER HARD THAN NORMAL BOILING EGGS. BROWN COLOUR THAT WAS FROM SWEET SOY KETCHUP. SPECIAL DISHES FROM YOGYAKARTA

In Indonesia is ramadhan so many people have a puasa
that black egg, that "bacem telur" (bacem egg/egg bacem)
bacem is a recipe for egg or chicken or tofu tempeh
this recipe using "gula jawa"/brown sugar and "kecap manis"/sweet soy sauce (slowly cooked)
that's why the colour is dark brown almost black
usually bacem telur served in a package with nasi gudeg ( a famous traditional Jogjakarta's meal )
and you also ate "sate usus ayam" or chicken intestine satay
and cow lungs satay (sate paru)
and also chicken butt satay (sate brutu)
