I heard one played at a party last week when one of her friends brought one round. It had a great sound without having to be turned up loud and the light show was a cool visual party feature.
@@RichMeYT It took a while before I had an opportunity to try it out. It sounds and looks great. I've just done the latest software upgrade too. It's handy that you can do this to a speaker (using my iPhone). I listen to books a lot and the quality and tone of the voices are excellent. My daughter has had several parties using it inc one where someone brought another JBL 110 along - in fact, it was his speaker that I first heard when he brought it around that made me buy one. Anyhow, they linked up easily and the sound was amazing. We had them in a wooden cabin 5m X 5M, full of people, in diagonally opposite corners with a pool table in the middle of the room between the speakers. I've no idea if this was acoustically the ideal arrangement but it suited the room layout. The sound was incredible. The biggest problem was turning down the noise and bass boominess as the party went into the early hours of the morning when I didn't want to upset neighbours. In the end, we simply turned the volume down and it still sounded terrific. The odd thing was that we had the bass enhancement turned off and the base on the equaliser turned down to zero. The sound is just so rich. We played rock and dance music. Both sounded really good and powerful, clear and crisp, even at low volumes. So overall I have been very impressed.

Anyways some things I forgot to mention - Plugging the speaker in will give it a small boost in performance (More bass, louder sound). - Battery life at around 50% volume gets around 2-4 hours. - Only way it can get up to 12 hours is if you turn everything down and off (20% volume, lights off, bass boost off) - Bluetooth 5.1, You can have 2 devices connected at once!
For the people who want to buy a JBL110, if it is for your home party it is more than enough. It kicks it pumps it is really impressive. Now we have the 310/320 710 1000 and the Ultimate but that is overdone for just home music or a little houseparty. The 110 is perfect and has a battery so you van take it anywhere 🎉

Where do you plug it in to charge it? Is there a main cable to run it off permanently. I previously had a W-King T11 speaker that wouldn't charge after only two previous charges, is this speaker more reliable? Great review by the way, I'm 80% sold on buying it now, after your review, to replace the W-king speaker. It costs a little more, but hopefully it's more reliable.
Hi, need some help here. My partybox 110 after firmware update keeps on turning on by itself after a duration of time. Any idea how to fix it? I already tried resetting it but still the same.

I like your style bro. But I listed to the PB 100 at the store and it sounded like garbage. I'm looking for a well rounded speaker that can do it all. Bass is nice when you want to listened to hip hop but if you just want to watch a film you probably want more emphasis on mid range and vocals. I listened to the Sony XP 500 and I was incredibly impressed but I hear that once you unplug them they sound like crap as there is a noticeable loss of power. Any thoughts on this?
Just bought and returned 2 XP500s. Replaced with 2 JBL PB110s. My friend and I laughed while we returned em talkin bout how Sony can't get speakers, TV's, soundbars, or anything right. They literally only makes ONE good product (PS5). Anyways if you wana talk specs the PB110 has 160W of power while the Sony only got 40W. Plus the Sony isn't as mobile (if you break the handle you're fucked). I did enjoy the lightshow 1000x better than the JBL's though. My friend and I agreed that the Sony gets a solid 8 on sound for size. But the PB110s take the dub. The Sony taps bass, the JBL punches. I like the fact the PB110 doesn't come with wheels, now I can have my people carry it instead of having em roll it collecting dirt and dust under the grill. PB110 gets a 10/10 for innovation.
How well does the Aux input work? i want to connect this to my ddj-400 vie RCA to aux and im wondering how the sound quality/loudness is with wired connection. Thanks!

@@TheLuxentertainment the quality would be the same but there would be a small fraction of delay in output. Only becomes a problem when beatmatching thru headphones plugged into the DDJ

Yes it is! 20 people is perfect, anything more than 40=50 then I would say get the partybox 300
so how long does the battery live when you play it friday nights? Lets say 30-50%, does it play the whole evening/night?
12 hours is at like 20% voulume with 60% wolume lights on and bass boost at first level its like 8 hours
