Little does Joe know, because of his nonexistent poise, when one two-handed hit lands, the next one will for sure hit him (and kill him) due to the immense stun duration - no time to dodge.
@@SackofDooDooUntrue, in DS3 all player style characters' first R1 attack true combos into the second, poise only affects not being staggered during your own attacks, which in itself only applies to weapons with poise frames, which curved swords do not (apart from on the kick replacement backflip, but that is incredibly niche). Poise would be literally useless for Joe, but a bit more defense would not.

He'll get thru Havel eventually...but will he meet his match with Midir? The true endgame cheese boss. Friede and Gael are legit harder but Midir makes us all just go, WHY?

My favorite dumb dark souls thing is trying to hit someone on the ground after a backstab even though it never works and just gets you in trouble.
Especially because it's basically built to hold R2 and charge up a free heavy attack.

Your first mistake is asking if Joe can learn with this game
He's really gone this long thinking that wearing _no armour_ has zero consequences, but in fairness, Michael's been letting him think that for just as long
unless they changed it after release, i remember daggers staggering people wearing Havels armor. so no poise only hyper armor which is affected by X frames into your attacks so you cant get knocked out of them.
i went through the game last year for the first time since release and i got staggered from every single hit i took wearing medium armor
To be fair, poise isn't really a thing in ds3. It's all hyperarmor.
the R1 to R1 2 hit true combos on all weapons unless you have hyper armor.
I am so happy this is still going. I love every second of this series.

Can you please use the console command and give joe all of the souls that he lost and see home many levels he could have had at the end of this series. I think that would make some good content.

It's impressive to see that any progress or knowledge Joe gained in this game can leave his brain as soon as the controller is out of his hands.

I know his pain. I’m not very good and I too have been stunlocked to death by the same lizard while doing the walk of shame to Havel.
I like that Joe after 21 parts, can’t even dodge the guy with the most telegraphed attacks ever. Roll to the fucking side, stop rolling into his club as it smashes right in front of you!

While you would think so, the dragon torso stone decreases lightning absorption so he would be taking even MORE dmg, as the boss deals lightning dmg.
Though that would be kinda funny
Honestly, I thought he did learn about comboing between light and heavy. Didn't realize he only stuck to one button combo.
He literally thinks that one button is just better and to never touch the other buttons. It's wild that he doesn't want to experiment even a little bit.
God, I love this series. Watching Joe growth is great, as Michael messes with him.

Joe hasn't hit a brick wall he can't DPS through yet. Unfortunately, I don't think Nameless King has great answers to massive DPS.
The DLC bosses responses to huge damage is give you back even more. If he does the those he’s going to get massacred.

Yeah, that was in the last part, Instead of Joe one hitting the Ancient Wyvern he actually fought it and it was very interesting to see.
Now to have Chris and Joe have both their Dark Soul characters team up together. Without any assistance from either Michael and Jon. That would make a hilarious video that I’d watch.

Ah i see joe has yet to actually learn how to time things and continues to brute force almost every fight by mashing till he wins by trading health due to his insane flask usage.
In the last video I had some hope for Joe. In this video, he's back to doing completely nonsensical things.

This has been my favorite series by roosterteeth since the 3d ultra mini golf series or halo horse! I'd love to see these 2 go play other FromSoftware games. Id be down to see joe play dark soul 1 or the new armored core

38:09 Honestly... your flask count doesn't even matter anymore. You have so many now that you usually die from getting wombo comboed rather than from running out of healing.
It might matter to a different player, who would go for long fights, but not for Joe's current build/strategy.

There WILL be some things in this comment you may not agree with, regardless i encourge you to read to the end. This series, bunny man, and the odd gmod video we get are the closest ive been to AH in a long time. I've been watching since minecraft #1, and i dont really care about the scandals, personally, i think everyone makes mistakes and has to grow in life, and alot of times that happens in a professional setting and loses people jobs. Its a part of life. Dudes use their positions to sleep with younger girls, and dudettes do the exact same thing in the position they're put in, unfortunately its just about who cares and who doesnt at the end of the day. Ive been in a relationship with a business woman, who was older than me when i was 17, and lured me with sex and status as well, but no one's gonna fire or attempt to cancel her because she's a woman. And im not sure the entire situation with mika and BK, as i heard of racism, and bullying, I've tired to look into it but the videos ive found are pretty vauge, so those parts, if true, i definitely dont agree with, but to be honest, hearing "ah is a boy club" isnt enough for me to hate them. If you dont like a boys club, why did you join a club obviously comprised of boys. Every new person has a story of watching AH before joining up, so while obviously just watching the videos isnt enough to have a grasp on how the inner workings of the company work, but its more than enough to see its a bunch of grown boys bullying each other, and if you're not built for the fire why stick your hand in it? I dont force my little sister to play cod when she doesnt like the way the guys talk to her, shes much more comfortable playing valorant with her friends, or breath of the wild on her own. She would rather not be a part of the boys club that is call of duty. I don't like to be the one bringing up sensitivity in sensitive situations, but i mean these is the facts jack. That's a conversation for a different time though, as i just wanted to make a statment of how much we miss the crews we love so much , how much we miss the light in everyones eyes, everything except majin joe, and bunny man seems forced, and Micheal is single handedly keeping "let's play" running, or at least presentable with a familiar face. We get 2 videos a week, if we're lucky, and like i said, we see micheal all the time, we see gavin sometimes, and alfredo sometimes. I understand that some people left, and some people went to other shows or productions. I guess after all of that i wanna ask if we're gonna lose lets play. 3.5 mil subscribers and getting 14-32k views, we're only putting out specific episodes, the specific episodes are filled with people who aren't necessarily as invested as the old crew are, these are the same signs we see with every dying channel. when joe, Alfredo, and BK are together the videos look like a csgo sweat match more than ttt, and everyone is so scared of saying anything genuinely funny or getting invested in the videos in general that the videos we're getting are seemingly deprived of passion, or any real interaction anymore. We miss Matt, why did y'all do what you did with him. We miss the vibes of friends playing a game together. I guess *I* do, i cant speak for everyone but I'm comijg straight off a reddit conversation about this same stuff, and a lot of us came to similar conclusions. The vibe of people getting to know each other, begrudgingly, over a game they don't care about, isn't resonating with us. Maybe y'all are coming up with a plan, and trust me i would love nothing more than to see y'all prosper again, but as of this point, it seems like everyone but Micheal has given up on the channel, and the community as a whole, and the ones who do participate otherwise are just there for their check, and have no real interest in the game, production, or community at all. Are we going to make new series? Can we bring back let's watch for all the single player games coming out? Can we bring back standard drop schedules? We don't even necessarily have to have the same people back, but can we get some people who give a shit about what they're doing?
Why have we given up, you guys were some of the forerunners for mfers who wanted to play video games for a living. I wanted to work with AH so bad growing up, and now it seems like they drop a joke before a prerecorded laugh and pretend it was natrual.
The commardry is gone, or the facade of it at least, the videos we do get, are lack luster, and the people we knew and love are gone.
