best channel on you tube- no cussing-no fussing- no clickbait . good job Captain
Are ya even working on something if there's no cussin?
@@TheDistur. Not me! You obviously understand 😮😅😂😊😊😊
And the running commentary is first rate!
Agree!!
What a transformation. You took junk and turned it into a working vehicle. Nice.
Mike, we need to have a lot of young folks watch you to see what a great work ethic looks like. I know there are still a lot that have it already, but some that don't now days. Great to see things are working out for you. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy. May you continue to be abundantly blessed and thanks for the hard work both in doing the work and videoing everything. John here, from the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee, y'all.
Glad to see that I'm not the only one who "modifies" a floor jack with a block of wood or two. Thanks for the video, take care.
6”x6” underneath and a 4”x4” on top! 😃👍
I think if you own a floor jack it is a requirement that from time to time you modify with a block of wood or two.
mine is attached to a bottom board with 1-2 2x4 on top. Depending on what I’m doing.
nice to see that i am not the only one who uses face muscles when a little bit more strength is needed, great work Mike it's looking awesome, great video 👍👍👍👍👍
Mike- spoiler, The “tent” is pre assembled 😮. Love the frame spreader! Cut to fit, hammer to install, works most of the time 😂. You really enlighten my life with your commentary- do you practice with the wife and kids? Or just us gullible viewers 😂😂😂- 😊
Cap't you are the master of innovation operating alone, great job.
What a nice job without overspending the budget. I just love how you get the most out of basically nothing and learning as you go along. AWESOME !
Thanks Mike, I always learn something when I watch your videos and I appreciate your patience and humorous bantering when you’re struggling to get new parts mated with old parts. Thanks!
Great job, Captain…the truck is looking good with that new bed!
👍 That style bed will be utilized way more than a dump bed for all the different projects you have going on, nice job.
They hate when you do that!!! Captain is a regular Kool Aid man....OHHH YEAAA!!! 😅😅
what a great add on for a very useful tool for the homestead
Cap, over here in England UK people are smashing the place up and rioting. the thing is the money for cleaning it is going to come from them. and with the pound not going very far for quite some time now it will be hurting triple double.?
Tell me about it, to be honest they don't care, one thing I know for certain is that it's going to be left for the rest of us to pay. I do think though that if we had been mid football season, it wouldn't have happened. So I blame the Premiership and the FA. 😂 🇬🇧
Awesome job on putting on the new aluminum box and awesome job on fixing the shock mount rail
keep up with all the great videos. I do like watching you work on so many different things and projects.
I understand why you put this part of the truck project on hold, the harder stuff is rough for me too, but like you said a heavy load off the shoulders, it's looking good and she should be the one carrying the heavy loads from now on.😊😊❤
Blue handled “nudger” to the rescue. Good work!
Not the hand saw to open the cardboard box lololol
Thank you for the continued great content and all of the laughs.
GOOD JOB my friend 👏 GREAT PROGRESS 👍 Thanks for sharing again 😊
You have accomplished a lot on this video. So much closer to getting it done. I can hardly wait until the next video! There is so much to look forward to! Thanks for sharing!😊
One of the greatest ways to alternative solutions is to do things yourself. I do 98.32541% of my projects alone. At 68 it’s still great to be inspired! Thanks youngun!
Great job, love how you get things to come together.
The old wooden port-a-power. Nice.
Yep, that brake line tool is “so easy that even a caveman, I mean an a “Kleeman” could do it”…
Nice work on the retrofitting of a flatebed/dumpbed. Great video series,
Thank you sir.
Great progress good to see you still smiling captain.
Stronger go faster better then before nicely done now if it would only dump lol great watch Captain 👩✈️👍👋🇨🇦
Love your work captain you inspire people to get things done you do great work keep it up look forward to your videos cheers Jill Australia 🇦🇺 🐨
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Bed looks great on the truck. Definitely an upgrade to the stock option. Thanks for including finishing painting the bottom of the frame and fixing the cancer on the cab. Had my fingers twitching waiting to comment. 😂 looking forward to watching your upcoming videos. Wishing you and your family the best.
I really enjoy the videos. Cracks me up. And I learn some stuff.
As always, thanks for sharing.
Great rebuild and its looking good. Just need to hang a couple of those fancy mud flaps that C&C sell. Thanks for another great video.
They aught to give him a pair if he is going to advertise their name everywhere he goes.
Need to find a under bed box for the passenger side, looking great Mike
That's a great bed for what you do, Mike. When I saw it, I imideatly thought of the Jackson Brothers. They all have that bed on their half trucks in Australia. Good-looking work trucks never get old.
Looks like a pro did the job to me! That bed made that into a much more user friendly truck for you in my opinion, looking forward to see how you make use of it now, nice job, thanks for the update, enjoyed watching.
Fits like a glove, Captain 😁
I think you put everything back on..... couldn't see anything lying around 😂
That work tent will fit inside the shade tree workshop perfectly !
capt if you were to mix a bit of old oil with a few candles over low heat (not open flame) an splash that mix up inside that new cross member itd help it last a lot longer just an idea but lookin good UGH scotch locks (them electrical taps are the worst things they are evil ruin more harnesses
Dont forget the blue truck looking forward to seeing that one up and running.
What truck? Lol
Boy I bet you are one happy camper. Great milestone.
Hi Mike. Most of the videos I've seen for replacing crossmembers show them cutting a big square hole in the side of the frame to slide the new one in. I like how you did it much better. You did have to convince the new part to get into its home, but you didn't have a huge hole to fill up afterwards. I have to replace that same crossmember on mine, as well as a couple others so glad that you showed what yours was like. The new bed looks good. Having the sides fold down should be pretty convenient for loading with a forklift.
A bigger hole would have definitely made it easier. If I had more confidence in my welding I probably would have went that route
Nicely done. Looks great.
Hardener actually makes the paint dry slower but with a little more gloss.
Yould be the first person, including the paint company, to say that I believe.
Nice build Captain, that body is definitely far more useful than the one you took off. Look forward to seeing it in action. 👍
Great work Mike ,since you have a flat bed may want to consider an over load spring kit cause you got more space for more weight ....
Great video. You are a great technician figuring out how to make your product better. Love it.👍🇺🇸
Great work Captain as usual, great truck.
Thanks!
shock mount/cross member fought every step of the way but Capt got it done. landscape bed sits bit high, creates some challenges in terms of loading but the benefits outweight that. unhacking wiring harness a smart move Capt. always so much fun trying to figure what PO did much less getting their cobbled mess to work right. mudflaps or fenders in the 2500's future? a 55 gallon drum sectioned make for some cheap easy 'fenders'
You are definitely getting there Mike, well done. “What brakes”😂😂😂😂😂😂
You forgot you’re gonna need some fancy looking mud flaps. 🐶
Whew!
At the 26:30 mark I thought you were going to BEND your side gate! Good job bud!
You’re doing great Mike. We love this stuff.
Great job Captain, this rig will definitely come in handy on your homestead.
Now thats what Im talking about pure necessity, making the saying so true, necessity is the mother of invention, or as I like to say good enough for government work, you done well Mike. 😁😁😂
Thanks!
Hey Captain, I have used the plastic, black distribution boxes on my trucks. They have a ton of posts and the box is weatherproof. Great way to do diagnosis for trailers, etc, especially if you run power and brakes on heavier trailers. Also gives you extra terminals to run accessories. Just a thought.
Aluminum bed looks great on the 2500 , Mike! It’s nice when you do everything right, I like the way you cleaned the frame and protected it with paint! Thanks for sharing brother, Kirk in Louisiana sending prayers and positive vibes to you and your family! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙋🏼✌🏻✌🏻💯💯💯
Looking good, well done 😊
Sometimes a fellow just doesn't have anything to say so he just leaves a comment for the algorithm. 😸
Way to go. Keep that puppy rolling!
Great job Michael.
Nicely done Captain!! Nice upgrade 💪🤗🇺🇸
Great job Captain! Truck is looking good
Thank you once again Capt!
Very proactive and attentive to work
Turned out good brother. Stay frosty.
As others have said. Clean channels are hard to find. I mean there's plenty of dirt and grime, but the language is regular English. Thanks.
I love watching your videos. You're very smart and i enjoy learning more about you. Awesome. Thanks for sharing, - Terry from Olympia, WA.
The wedge pounded in for the win! I was wondering how that pipe was going to slide in. Nice work! 👍😁
Good morning sunshine! Great job! Glad to see the bed on! Much love and respect from Henderson Ga USA
Mike it's always interesting how doing things are self what an how we turn are self inside out holding an jacking at the same time... Thanks had a nice laugh seeing you do what I have done many times.... Great job an video..
Great job YOUNG MAN
Thanks!
dont forget mud flaps for back wheels
BIG job. You covered the whole range of tasks and now the fruits of your labour are yours to savour. Big job, I've done it as well but not a big truck like that. You are commended for the entire effort. It was more work than I realized with that size rig. That crossmember I had dreamed about and decided to leave my one as is. A p.i.t.a. to fit. of course it's the first one between rails when tha chassis are being made. I was smiling and cringing as you were bashing away at it, not sure if you were getting it in without stripping the bar down!
16:29 if only I’ve been born an octopus
I love your videos funny n always learn something new. We have flat beds on our work trucks n when they put em on they put a piece of conveyor belt n a lil square between the bed n frame to give it some cushion n no squeaky squeaky lol awesome job ole girl looks good
Captain Kleeman, make sure you put a good ground wire on the bed . Electrolysis will form quickly. 😮
I can already seecaptain kleeman across the side of that bed👌🏼
Good job Mike 👍🏻 Looks good, flatbeds are the way to go
Hi Mike & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Mike & Friends Randy
Fantastic I love your wood port a power to spread the frame.
Great job!!
Cap’n your budget for ratchet straps must be astronomical! I mean, there is barely a video that goes by where you aren’t using them for some unconventional task.
I have some connections. My nephew is a paramedic who works with our local Nurse Ratchet. I’ll ask him to check with her and see if she can help get you a ratchet strap vendor who needs the ultimate influencer!
Frankentruck is almost roadworthy. I can hardly wait to see her enter the motor pool. Nice work bud!!!
Very impressive and great to watch.
The bed sits a little high. Lose some visibility out of the back window. That bed is most likely made for a different truck. They're not exactly universal. Despite that, I think it will become very handy for the homestead. 👍👍 Just make sure you note the maximum height of the window protector. Don't want to take out any low obstacles that the truck would normally fit under! 🤞🤞
Thank you for sharing!
Appreciate ya watching!
Don't worry about the wet paint. You ain't gonna hurt the work clothes.
Great job Captain it looks good
Thanks for the video.
Wow Mike that truck looks really Awesome, very nice work Mike👍👍😎😎🍮🍮❤️❤️
You got alot done ✔in this video!
Just dropping by to see what you have going on... and it's the bed going on, so for a little bit of Miking around (doing things your own way) I think you did very well! :)
Aye aye Captain! Good work!
Your channel is excellent...
Thank you!
Awesome Capt I think you need a few strobe lights
I want a bed like that on my truck looking good buddy
Like the video Capt , Now Its going to a very nice truck .
I just like watching.
That flaring kit looks like it really takes the "art" out of flaring. I've done a lot of flares that could be described as "abstract".
great job on the truck build...
Something that I've used, for many years, on bolts is a small amount of silicone sealant - in the threads. It makes a really great thread locker and also keeps the rust out of the threads. And a small tube of caulk goes way farther, and cheaper, then thread locker.
Thank a lot , another great video, i learn a lot 👍👍👍👍
