Blade OFF SCM | Safety first

During Xylexpo 2022 fair, the exclusive blade off technological solution (installed on SCM circular saws) was awarded the "Oscar" of the fair, the XIA - Xylexpo Innovation Award for the "panel processing" category.
The jury wanted to reward the new SCM solution by emphasizing "the strong improvement in safety" as it is a system which, thanks to exclusive smart sensors, prevents the blade from coming into contact with the operator's hand.
This acknowledgment is further proof of SCM's constant commitment to designing and developing innovative technological solutions that are efficient, safe and easily usable even for craftsmen who are not yet fully expert in the use of machine tools.

Great feature. If you only activate the system once in your lifetime, it's worth the investment... After a long work day or getting too much confidence it is totally possible to accidentally touch the blade!
