For those who didn’t see the whole show: He startet singing and posting on CZcams when he was younger, but since he got bullied for the way he sang, he stopped singing.. His brother signed him up for the voice, he had never sung on a stage before. That makes this performance even more emotional in my eyes 🥺 My favourite this year 👏🏼🇳🇴

@@1996vanity1 it's a nice version and has a nice arrangement, but I don't agree with you; it's way too "screamy" for me. Natan's version is really soft but powerful at the same time, you can feel how fragile he is and how he is about to break

@@1996vanity1 both have singing issues, I'm a singer myself and I judge them as one. Matt has a really great raspy voice with amazing range but to me he didn't show the feelings of the song as Natan did (not saying he did it bad, just not as good as him). That's why I like his version because even the mistakes are such amazing arrangements on his suite powerful voice

I've watched this audition probably about 50 times now, give or take, and I still get emotional, especially around 1:35. What a powerful performance. Better than the original, IMO.
Matoma is incredible! He's one of my favourite artists and I love that he shows emotion. Very fitting for an artist that got his name because his brother gave him a hug and tried to say "Hakuna Matata" but was so drunk he said "Hakuna Matoma" 😅

I'm from outside of Boston, MA USA...I don't understand your language and it disappointed me not to hear the comments of the coaches, especially the handsome tall man in the gray turtle neck who cried...I love that kind of emotion....The young man who sang did a great job on, "Bruises." I looked it up and heard it by the singer/songwriter. I'm trying to continue, on You Tube, to follow him...He's really captivating and talented...
