    I've been trying to learn this game for a whole while now, and this is the best, clearest explanation I've found - especially coming from MTG where *everything* has costs to pay, here you've made really clear what costs do or don't need to be payed in FAB, and when. Thanks 👍

    Awesome tutorial! I recently received the new blitz decks (literally 10m ago) and your video helped clear up a few questions I had remaining, specifically concerning the combat chain.
    It also occurs to me that whilst pitching blue cards is most attractive for generating resources you are effectively guaranteeing that your deck late-game will be entirely comprised of your weakest cards. Interesting dynamic 🤔

    • @UnisonGamesCafe
      @UnisonGamesCafe  Před 3 lety

      Exactly. As you play more you'll see the strategy of really doing the math and making sure you pitch a red and yellow over a blue in some instances. Sets you up for the future turns and gets more cards out of your hand.

    Awesome video. Need to get a token like this for my action point when I play at the lgs - looks professional.
    A video explaining other cards and how to use them (and how they cant be used) wowbe awesome. I stumbled across mentor in my levia deck and i don't know what to do with that card. Can i defend with it? Do i put this into arsenal face down or face up? I'm lost.

    • @UnisonGamesCafe
      @UnisonGamesCafe  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks for watching! Mentors are a newer card type. They do have defense values so you can defend with them. The best thing to do is to get those in the Arsenal because that’s when their effects happen. When you put it in your Arsenal it will be face down but the next turn you can turn it face up and start placing counters.

    Is there a video on how the damage works as in how the equipment works as defense?

    • @UnisonGamesCafe
      @UnisonGamesCafe  Před 3 lety

      It's in there! I'll be doing an updated video with some new stuff, but ultimately defense protects from power (the yellow attack symbol)

    Do the equipments you pick and start with count toward your overall deck size?

    • @UnisonGamesCafe
      @UnisonGamesCafe  Před 3 lety +1

      They sure do. The 80 that you bring to the table has the equipment you'd like to choose from.

    So I can't just play all my attacks at once correct? for example If I play an attack, they deside if they want to block or do whatever, then I move on to my next attack.

    • @UnisonGamesCafe
      @UnisonGamesCafe  Před 3 lety

      The key is you need to not only have resources to pay for your attack, but you also need an Action Point. Any card that has "Action" in the middle bottom (like Attack Action) or when your weapon says "Once per Turn Action-Attack" then you need to use an action point. Go Again gives you an action point so as long as you continually keep attacking and resolving cards with "Go Again" you can keep going.

    thx man, what i dont understand are auras!
    so for auras i need also to spend AP? and when can they be played? thxe.g. when can i use GENERIC TOKEN -- QUICKEN?

    • @UnisonGamesCafe
      @UnisonGamesCafe  Před 3 lety +1

      The first thing to look at is the bottom middle. If it says "action" then you play it during your action phase (essentially the main phase) and it costs 1 action point. Think of Action Points as an additional cost when something is an "Action". ACTIONS can only be played during the action phase and if it's also an ATTACK then that's when you start a combat chain. Quicken says WHEN you attack, "when" and "If" indicate that it's a trigger. So when you play a card with attack in that box, or use a weapon with the bold Action ATTACK, quicken triggers and gives that attack go again.

    • @musicotaku666
      @musicotaku666 Před 3 lety

      @@UnisonGamesCafe thx so much, so i can theoretically have 3 Quicken Tokens in my Deck and also play those 3 times in a row? or once in a turn?

    • @UnisonGamesCafe
      @UnisonGamesCafe  Před 3 lety

      @@musicotaku666 so a quicken token is created by 2 cards, Coax a Commotion and Flock of the Feather walkers. Soon as a quicken token is created, since its an aura, it hangs out in the arena until its triggered. You would want to play the 2 cards I mentioned if you want to create the tokens

    • @UnisonGamesCafe
      @UnisonGamesCafe  Před 3 lety

      @@musicotaku666 that may be your confusion, as a quicken token isn't exactly a card, least not one that you'd put in your deck. Its created by cards and then trigger when you attack.

      @@UnisonGamesCafe OH MAN! you really help me a lot out! :) so tokens are just outside of the arena/or available when needed but neutral and non-deck cards!!!! wow, this game is really deeper than i thought! and i start atm with WTR as i want to experience step by step and saw that ARC makes stuff even more complex ;). pretty great!
