When I put my modge podge/drip on my ice cream I place it in front of a fan for about 30 mins and it dries enough to finish the top. I put my sprinkles in a little modge podge and then adhere them to the whip cream topping with a tweezers after it's dry. I love your videos and it's so nice to see someone on CZcams who crafts and has the same hobby as me♥️🍨

I agree with you about not wanting to add real food to my fake food.
Great tip to add Baby Powder.
I saw a video where someone was using Dollar Tree spackle and it is suppose to be a perfect consistency for ice cream since it is more on the dry side but I have not been able to find it yet.
I just found Dollar Tree caulk which I also saw a video showing how great it is for marshmallow drizzle.
I was not able to find the resealable tube kind but it is OK as the one that you need a caulk gun for comes in a larger amount for the same price.

Made the ice cream scoops last night, and they are turning out great. I just put scoops of the spackle in 3 shades, chocolate, strawberry and vanilla on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. The extra bits I had left in chocolate and strawberry I used the frosting decorator tip to make small stars. Hoping I can add the glitter or embellishment later. Do you think mod podge or white glue will work? Thanks so much for the really fun and instructional video!

To help save spackle you can place a styrofoam ball inside ( add a penny or washer in bottom for weight if required) if using solid color cups...

@@peepthisyall trying to save on funds and wanting to made realistic ice cream cones I actually have tried using a " real cone cup" I put kidney beans in bottom for weight, stuffed the cone with tin foil.. then I filled the top inside with mod podge ( the edge was very soft until hardened and painted the complete exterior with mod podge. So far so good it seems pretty tough. ( now I have to get baby powder to make my " tiger tail ice cream. I have also watered down my pod podge with Cherry flavored " Kool-Aid drink liquid.. ( I didn't like the flavor but it works nicely for fake bake and is scented ..lol) I made thumb print cookies it was nice jelly... worked with a vase filler for a fake slushy and I spread it out and let it set, peeled it off the sandwich bag and pressed it into a strawberry ice cube mold and made strawberry gummies.. I'll try it on a sundae as strawberry syrup... had to share this with you. Love your ideas and thanks for posting with us.

Forgot the main reason I mixed Mod Podge with the liquid Kool aid mix was to make a red " Candy apple" and it worked amazing. I gave it 2 coats allowing 2 days dryin in between as I didnt want to play with Epoxy. ( and this was cheaper)

The reason you were able to put so many scoops into your cup was because the ice cream scoops, settled upon each other. I know, I did this before and it will settle further, depending on ur weather and humidity in the house. The cornstarch and hair conditioner works best and you can even put the scoops into your hand to move to different containers, if, you need to. I love doing it this way. You need patience but it works better.

I tried using just the spackle but it ended up, literally, softening so much, it didn't hold its shape. So, then I did the cornstarch and VO5 conditioner and I made a dough that was able to be used as a scoopable mix, and formed great ice cream scoops. A heads up that I know about. I made a few ice cream desserts with that.
